Sooooo, I figured it out. My GT 1030 is being treated as the master card for some reason, so if it isn't the one the display signal is going through it clocks down from 1250mhz to 135.

 

Anybody know I can switch it to where my GTX 1650 is the Master? I don't want to have to go back to HDMI, everything looks all jaged (my desktop looks fuzzy. Not like broken graphics card fuzzy, just different amount of information coming through the HDMI port vs the DP)

 

Edit: I have the 1650 in the slot closest to CPU. It's getting PCIE 2.0 x16 whereas the GT 1030 is only PCIE x4 (it's in an x16 slot, just being thrown down to x4 because of bandwidth issues if I had to guess at the reason.).

 

Everything is stable thus far, though I'm about to start up a furmark burn-in to see what it does

The 1030 is a x4 card, even if it strangely uses a full length connector and has all contacts populated for some reason...

 

There's no reason display should be fuzzy on HDMI.

 

Some BIOSes let you select the primary display adapter.

I guess we are clogging there servers as now uploads keep failing according to log, Bet they never thought they could get to much help

If you have a look at the logs mine says none available for this configuration I assume that means no work available

About the same amount of attempts here before finally getting one. It also took a long time to download so I would say the work servers are pretty saturated with bandwidth. Hopefully @LinusTech are able to get the infrastructure up that they mentioned in the last WAN Show relatively soon.

Card Bios or Mobo? I've looked around in Nvidia control panel a little bit to see if can find something but got interrupted by my insides.

Yeah, so it seems like my GT 1030 is only going to be producing just a couple thousand more ppd than my CPU was doing at full tilt.

 

Oh, that's spicy. Not only do I have to have the 1030 as the display card, having that card slotted is forcing my cpu to clock down to 2.1Ghz
