5000$ Custom Loop water cooled PC

It's finally DONE, Was hard, But it's done and No regrets were made  , Here it is

 

CPU: Intel 9900k

Motherboard: Asus Prime Z390-A

RAM: 32GB (x4 8GB Modules) Corsair Dominator

VideoCard: Asus Nvidia 2080ti

HDD/SSD: 1TB M2 Samsung EVO 970

Case: LianLi O11 Dynamic (White)

Radiator: x1 Corsair Hydro X Series XR5 360

Fans: x6 Corsair LL120 RGB

Tubing: Thermaltake PETG ID: 13mm OD: 16mm

Fittings: Bitspower Throughout

 Waterblocks: CPU: EK-Velocity RGB (Nickel+Plexi) VideoCard: EK-Vector RTX 2080ti w/ Nickel Backplate (Nickel+Plexi)

Reservoir: Bitspower Touchaqua Sedna Front Plate

Options: Corsair Commander Pro, Corsair RGB Controller, Custom Sleeved Cables for CPU, ATX and PCI-E

 

Every item was meticulously cared for during the build, and all leak tested. I ran burn-in tests on the CPU/RAM/Video Card, with zero errors. What do you all think?

Nah, The fans were 200$, But the water cooling stuff, and all the extra stuff I put in probably costed like less than half of the build

Fans are probably only about $280-$300 of the entire system regular price. I would reckon the majority of the build cost is that 2080Ti. I have pretty much the exact same hardware in my Cosmos Sv2 build. I gotta say I love how different the system looks from my own.

Plus I think something is off with the costs.  I built a 9900k + 2080 Ti build last year with a better motherboard, Corsair ML fans, EK blocks/radiators/fittings and it was maybe $3k.  Not sure what makes up the $2k difference.

I built his exact rig, and since he didn't give much detail I went all out on RAM choice, and PSU. And it totaled under 3k. He spent apparently ~$1200 on cooling? Possible?

 

It also grinds my gears that he couldn't have bought a fuckin PRO cablemod kit with some damn combs.

$5000 - 2833 = $2167 which is a lot for water cooling parts.  And I guess I spent more than I realized but still not that much including a custom loop.

Oops I did horrific math. But yeah 2.2k on watercooling is bullshit. If I was motivated I could probably price out that loop and prove him wrong.

Ok, I don't know why you're getting so bent out of shape about his title so let me play defender a little here. First off, I only see the price once in his title and once in his signature with a share link to this thread and by the nature of the forms once again in the share link. Next, who knows if he's including the price of the entire setup not just the tower. In which case yes maybe they should added "Setup" in their title and took pictures of everything. 

 

Also, not everyone has access to the absolute lowest prices that are listed on pcpartpicker. What if they live in a country where they charge an obscene amount for pc parts compared to the US prices? For example, the 9900k is apparently $780 in Australia according to this: https://www.shopbot.com.au/pp-intel-core-i9-9900k-price-557526.html I myself ended up paying $719cad for my 9900k. Yea I could've gotten it a bit cheaper but I wanted to get it and the motherboard from a physical store. 

 

With my own main rig tipping the scales at nearly $8k for the whole setup I certainly believe that they could've paid $5000 for the tower alone even though neither my system or theirs may not look like it to some.

 

At any rate we should just be happy and enjoy the time and effort that @jakeslayer9091 put into building this system even if they post the price in the title. Besides "5000$ Custom Loop water cooled PC" catches more attention than "I built a watercooled pc".

I know what you are saying, but say someone like me who lives in Japan a Thermaltake Core P7 costs me $1,070 US dollars (I think it is about $300 US dollars on Amazon USA). Finding the absolute cheapest parts without considering how much it costs to get it to you (And that is the main reason it costs so much in Japan). My water cooling cost for my system, 4 x Radiators fans, pipiing, 3 x pumps, reservoirs and fittings are way over $3K US dollars. You know how much it costs to ship Ekwb products to Japan? Anyway, this is not a price contest and if it cost the OP that much, then thats fine IMO. That said, I am not disagreeing with you, but hope you have a more open mind that not everyone is able to source absolute cheapest price.

We all know why the OP put the price the very first thing in the title.  Please stop trying to twist is that @Statik is missing some vague point about location/region.  We all get that too.

 

If he had put the price as a total of all parts somewhere in the body, you'd have more of a leg to stand on.

 

As it is, price was the single most important thing the OP wanted to relay to us.  And very good for him, many can't afford that and he has a beautiful system to show for it.

 

Since you're not disagreeing with Statik, why must he be open minded more?  He's dead on, if you're agreeing.

Obscene? The parts are marginally more expensive. A 9900K at Microcenter including tax converted to AUD is like $730.
