Yes, you could put an x1 card in an x16 slot or vice versa and they'll work just fine.

Yeah but I wouldn't pay more than 15-20€ for that Card, if at all.

Its really really slow and I'd expect my 2400G to beat the shit out of that card (I also have a GT710)...

2GiB RAM? Pentium??? What are you talking about?
That sounds like either an old Pentium 4 or, at best, a low end Core2 based one.

Either way, probably not really...

Depends on the pentium, but not with that ram. GTA V struggles with 4gb, and you need a workaround patch to use it like that or it just errors out before starting. 2gb it most likely is just going to crash on startup.

As for the Pentium, modern dual core stuff, maybe Ivy Bridge and newer will play, it wont be ideal, but it will play. Anything older and its going to be a near unplayable experience.

The GPU will work fine in a x16 slot, ive used the EVGA 1gb one that was x8 before and that will play GTA V, though that was with an Athlon 5350. I was getting 20-30fps on almost all low in 720p and 40fps in multiplayer.

I would not suggest buying a GT 710 at all though.

How about core 2 duo?

It might play decently, but keep your expectations low. Also, if you want to play GTA V you should get at least 4GB (get 8GB if possible) RAM, 2GB isn't enough.

Can 4 GB run it? At low 720p

Not with GT 710... try getting Radeon HD 7770, or something like that? Usually very cheap

2GB preferred. 1GB is ok too if you cannot squish into budget.

HD 7850, HD 7870, GTX 650, GTX 650 Ti, GTX 660, GTX 750 Ti are also good option.

What a broken site... any ways you should just buy a RX 560, it's dirty cheap and much newer and reliable for the latest games you're trying to play.

Then get a second hand xbox 360? you won't be playing any of those games if you can't even pay for a RX 560 being completely honest, like a GT 710? that is not a "graphics card" it's just a display adapter.

Your processor has little to do with your detail level and resolution. I think you should consider saving a ton more more money and buying a proper low end system, value is key here instead of the cheapest possible. Treat yourself, get yourself something nice.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

We need a screenshot of the CPU-Z Screen.

the first one and the Motherboard.

With the Information "Pentium" its not even possible to say if a Core 2 Duo CPU would work in your Motherboard.

Experience told me to expect the worst, wich means Pentium 4 on i915. And with those you can't.

But we need more information.

YOU have to provide more information for us to help you!!

Seen this Video:

Here Riley "accidentally" bought the wrong motherboard, one that doesn't even support Core 2 Duo

Xbox 360 needs Gold to play online.

So that only leaves the PS3.

But yeah, that's the cheapest option to play GTA 5, even if its not at the same patchlevel as the PC Version.
