Yep I have the X34 and it will play almost everything maxed out, only exceptions so far are Witcher 3 and just cause 3, had to turn some settings down but other wise runs like a champ.

Do you really think Ubisoft's games are going to improve if they're published by an even bigger and even less competitive media conglomerate? This is good for Vivendi and, as far as I can tell, no one else.

That may be, but from first hand experience I had 2 that were the same and a 3rd with the same res + refresh and it refused to work, once I had 3 of the same it worked just fine

The 1TB hdd will make the computer feel slow. I suggest getting at least a ssd/hdd hybrid, but a ssd would be better.

then cheapest 1080 with an aftermarket cooler, the hybrid water cooled ones and stuff may get you like 2 fps better frame rates .. not worth the buy

A LOT of money. More money then they had access to. So he knew there were only a handful of companies that could give him the amount he needed.

So no. They weren't just the Publishers. They OWNED the development company. That meant they had full control over the creative process.
 
Chris Roberts LEFT Digital Anvil after the Microsoft takeover. He later returned as a creative consultant. But guess what? A creative consultant has no control over the process. Microsoft instructed the dev team to scale it down and focus on specific things.
 
So if you're saying that Chris Roberts was more highly involved, and that Microsoft had nothing to do with it besides being the bank, and had nothing to do with the DMCA takedown requests for mods, please prove me wrong with sources.

Uh. NVIDIA only sets the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) and it's just that, a suggestion. The store sets the final price. If stores want to keep selling the cards for MSRP, that's all on them, not NVIDIA.

There is more to cards than just their specs, if the games are done with SLI / crossfire in mind then sli 1070's would go past the 1080 easily as you should get 30-50% increase. Just know that not all developers code their games to run with that configuration.

Dont want to read spoiler: If you own a motherboard with a dedicated sound output section, you do not need to upgrade you DAC unless you are already content with everything else in your system, it should be the LAST thing you upgrade
