I considered the Hyper 212 but it doesn't have any white so it wouldn't go that well with the theme of my build. Vengeance Pro is nice but not worth the extra price

I feel like the main reason people would buy the 510 Elite is aesthetics, it's probably one of the best looking cases I've ever seen, but at more than twice the price of the H500 I think it's just not worth it.

The thing is, the issue isn't that I can't get past a certain clock speed. It's that no matter what clock speed I set the GPU to, it ends up running at stocks speeds regardless. Even though the overclock is actually applied in Afterburner, the sensor show it as running at stock clock speeds. 

Yeah, I just tried uninstalling MSI Afterburner and installing Sapphire Trixx. I applied the same overclock but it still wouldn't run at anything other than stock speeds. I feel like AMD's Crimson software may be messing up the overclock, since I recall my GPU overclocking fine before.

Beats most other degree programs in long term job security, especially when you look at what is going to happen to the services industry in the next 20-30 years.

In short, yes. I myself have a degree in Computer Engineering ( software with some hardware experience/knowledge ). A common misconception I found that people have is that you have to have a strong affinity in a specific field to be good at another one, or to even enjoy it. I've seen math whizzes fail at programming due to not understanding some of the concepts, while I've seen a theatre major do well.
Here's an example: In my first year at college/uni, a girl that was a theatre arts major was taking a beginning computer science class as an elective and for fun ( Note, she never took a comp sci class before or had taken high level math before ). She ended up doing better than 75% of the class, and same thing with the second in the series. After that, she decided to do a dual major, and now has a degree in computer science.
 
Now, is this to say you're going to kick ass and beat them? No. And the same goes for them. As far as competing, however, there's plenty of job opportunities out there for everyone, and I've also found that those who intentionally compete vs helping and working with others tend to either fall behind or change majors.

The ASUS VN248H would be great for $150. The LG 25UM57 would also be good if you want an ultrawide. Finally, the acer g257hu is a bit over budget, but it really is an amazing 1440p monitor for $250.

SOO I'm in a slight dilemma,
 
Right now I have an i7 4790k with an h100i on a Maximus Gene VII in a Thermaltake Core V21. 
 
I have a 4.7 overclock on the CPU and good temps with the h100i (Low 60s under load/gaming) and I want to be able to keep that.
 
I am really going for a quiet build, all of the fans are SP/AF fans running at low RPMs and are nearly silent when doing normal tasks, but obviously it ramps up during load.
 
TL;DR So i guess the real question is, when my system is at idle, the only thing I can hear is the pump of my h100i. I have looked up issues on the h100i before thinking it could be the pump going, but it is different from the noises people have posted on youtube, etc. and its definitely not air in the loop (I have had that before).
 
is the h100i pump just relatively loud for a very quiet build? I have thought about going to a different AIO for noise, but now it seems I'm worried about pump noise, will any others actually make a difference? or am I just going to have to deal with the fact there is going to be some noise with water cooling?
