Current state of POST time (MSI B450 Tomahawk Max)?

In multiple reviews of the B450 Tomahawk Max I read complaints about very high POST times at launch.
I'm curious on how the current Agesa Updates improved on that or if it's even a thing.

I would really like to hear from users of this board on how long the POST time really is (with the most current available Update installed and from a cold start).
I plan to buy that specific model together with a 3700X

Thank you

It is not an agessa problem, on msi motherboards just must Turn off CSM support in the BIOS, and that will cut boot time in half.

But boot times on ryzen are still worse than on intel, it takes 1min for my pc to start with an ssd (asus x470i, was the same with msi b450mortar), was like 7 secs on i5 6600k.

Specifically newer Intel, in my experience.

X99 takes a second or two longer to POST and boot from cold than my Ryzen system does.

Yes, but my laptop with i5 3400 whatever, still only boots in 5 seconds, and that is a cold boot, that is insane.

My MSI Ace takes 32 seconds from cold to windows log in screen with a 3600 and a adata nvme drive. Not 5 seconds but certainly acceptable enough to me. Not like anything in my life is so important I cant wait 32 seconds lol. How long are people reporting boot times on the Tomahawk Max? Im still deciding on what to use to build a work pc and was considering that board

My B450 Tomahawk Max takes 17 seconds to boot up

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
