@LinusTech is a very busy person with very busy person things to do.   he does occasionally come out of his kingdom and parlay with us rabble rousers, though infrequently.

It's a nice wish but I really don't see this happening with just about any big YouTuber unfortunately when contacting them out of the blue. If it's for a contest you might stand a chance but otherwise I just don't see it happening. Most things aren't impossible but just in the realm of probably not going to happen.

Who's going to pay to fly you and possibly a parent or guardian out there with you, put you in a hotel for a couple nights, get all the gear there, and then ship it all back?
Why should you out of the millions of other fans they have that probably want the same thing get chosen to build a PC with them?
Will you be able to get time out of school to do all of this?

It's the worst business ever. So much overhead, so little reward, so much that can go wrong.

I think it was maingear that tried to do a crowdfunded round of investor funding a couple years back and their financials were like... Not investment-worthy

it plays perfectly fine with keyboard and mouse.  i dont know anybody that would suggest gamepad instead.(and quite frankly anybody who does is wrong and has never played a high level greater rift)
with a gamepad you lose alot of the micro control that a mouse gives, thats needed at higher difficulties.

that being said, the entire game was designed around the fact that it would be playable on console. the lack of skill progression and build diversity that plagues the game, and that itemization is the primary difference between builds instead of what skills you use, is entirely because it was released on console.

the things people loved about Diablo 2, that dont exist in D3, is because its on console.

but its still a good game, and i highly recommend using keyboard/mouse if you're playing on PC

its probably talking about video memory.  which would be his graphics card not having enough vram.

the adapter and battery are connected in a parallel circuit but will always use battery if it is present. this is to protect the device and protect you

    it doesnt.
it will always draw from battery power.
when its plugged in, it charges the battery.

you get better performance when its plugged in, because the computer knows thats its plugged in and stop undervolting it.

the reason it works when its plugged in, without the battery, is because its basically just bypassing that circuit. (its a little more technical than that though)

Tsuki got a reaction from XA33 in I don't understand the obsession over thin and light
thin and lights are great for people who mainly go from meeting to meeting giving powerpoint presentations and who live in excel buried by spreadsheets.   they dont need some beefy laptop powerful enough for cad or video editing.

Tsuki got a reaction from realpetertdm in How does ltt do so much video work
they film in raw 8k, which takes up a huge amount of space. they keep their entire backlog of videos stored locally. and they do work not on youtube. they do training videos and TV stuff all the time, you just dont see it cuz they dont post that stuff to youtube.
im surprised it took as long as it did to fill up petabyte project

one option, while not perfect, is to go through contract companies.  they can usually find openings for you. its definitely not a perfect solution, but it can get your foot in the door and get you something to put on your resume.
