huh? wdym?

are you trying to ask which power source it will use when its plugged in? most definitely the battery.

I am not an engineer (yet - i am a freshmen at VT), but i would assume that if it used the adapter and you unplugged it, it would cause to to shutdown before it could switch to battery. I would assume its battery so it gets a stable flow of power.

My Fujitsu laptop uses the the power from the wall when plugged-in,and the battery when not plugged in.

When plugged in to the wall i get significantly higher clock speeds with both the CPU and GPU,

Also i can power on the laptop without the battery :D

it doesnt.

it will always draw from battery power.

when its plugged in, it charges the battery.

you get better performance when its plugged in, because the computer knows thats its plugged in and stop undervolting it.

the reason it works when its plugged in, without the battery, is because its basically just bypassing that circuit. (its a little more technical than that though)

so instead of increasing the longevity of the battery by switching to outlet power it instead just still uses the battery.

yes.

the adapter and battery are connected in a parallel circuit but will always use battery if it is present. this is to protect the device and protect you
