How come when a girl buys a vibrator, it's all fine and dandy and nobody cares, but when I buy an eJaculator with Bluetooth, a removable battery, pulsation, and can walk around the house while masturbating to VR HANDS FREE I'm a weirdo?

All 290s put out roughly the same amount of heat into your room/case under full load. If you water cooled it, it would still put out the same amount of heat.

That said, you shouldn't get a reference R9 290 unless you plan to water cool it because it may throttle and is very loud.

Why does it matter if it's a robot? Is it really that much different from a fleshlight? Is a vibrator a disgusting robot too?

IKR, 2015 and people still think masturbating is some sacred spooky thing. If this helps people get off, what's so bad about it?

smh fam can you elaborate? If anything the i3 has a wider choice of games to choose from because FX runs (relatively) quite poorly on a few MMOs, FSX, Arma 3, DayZ, and many other games.

i5-4440/4460 are the best value, but i5-4690k is the best in terms of performance (excluding Skylake).

R9 is the higher end gaming GPUs. The "x" version of a card is about 5-10% better than the non "x" version. There is no R9 295, but there is a R9 285. The 285 was similar in performance to a R9 280, but used a new chip and was more power efficient. The R9 380 is a refresh of the R9 285.

Well that escalated quickly... FFS some people. <_< How the fuck do you go from masturbation to child molestation? Guess I'm a satanic demon who sacrifices small children simply because of my choice of music and games.

4.95m pixels vs 3.69m pixels, so there will be a significant difference in performance. A 980ti should still be able to handle every game just fine, maybe not on ultra with MSAA in some very demanding titles though.

We all knew that this day was coming....

Someone is working on the fascinating eJaculator. The basic concept is a VR headset and a physically moving fleshlight... The campaign is currently in Indiegogo.

You can see how it looks from the picture below. You can see the insertion part in the picture as well as some specs.

To demonstrate it even further, the made a totally not at all cringe Youtube video for the product. As you can tell from the people who have tested it, it looks somewhat promising.

Even Huffingtonpost has written an article about the product. They crushed their 48.000$ indiegogo goal getting over 80.000$ from backers. Why should you be interested?

It's certainly an interesting product. However I'm not sure that it's something I would buy, yet. Is it worth around 125$? If it works as it should, I honestly think it's a fair price tag, if you get the headset, the "toy" and the app. If I'd be able to catch a free test sample, I'd test it right away. Still, I'm not sure how to really feel about it. While in one way, this is where the future is heading, I'm not sure how the reality feeling of the VR is. If major companies spend years and years and still not releasing any consumer product, I'm not sure that this minor company has too much to come with, but I could be wrong. Going to be interesting to see what the consumers say when (or if) they get their samples

Fate reacted to D2ultima in Gaming CPU needed?
Valley is a single-threaded, non-CPU-intensive benchmark purely designed to murder GPUs with effects more than anything else. You'd need to check a different sort of benchmark, likely for a game that is heavier on a CPU.

We're not saying an i3 is good for gaming. Ever. What we're saying is, that an i3 is, for the majority of cases, better than any AMD CPU on the market for gaming. Just like an FX-4130 is better than a Pentium 4 for gaming. Does it mean the 4130 or the pentium 4 are good for gaming? Hell no. But one has to be better than the other if they're not equal.

Also, JayzTwoCents once said he left MSAA off in BF4 because he globally forced it to 4x via nVidia control panel... except that BF4 disallows overrides unless you hack the driver profile using nVidia Inspector, and the "great JayzTwoCents" didn't know this, so his test was invalid. He is not almighty, nor the final word on things.

A GPU can be running at 100% reported usage and still benefit from a better CPU. It doesn't make all that much sense at face value, but I'll say that most of the time, what we see as GPU load in games/benchmarks/etc is nowhere NEAR what the correct load is. There's a bunch of tools OEMs like Dell and MSI have that shows them what's REALLY going on with a GPU, and they're not allowed to show them or even give the real numbers in certain scenarios. Just know that while sub-100% reported load is a bottleneck, 100% load doesn't mean no improvement is possible.

Since Valley as I said above is single-threaded, you wouldn't be able to clock an AMD chip fast enough without LN2 to get the same single threaded performance that i3 would give, so yes. It would have MUCH more likely hit 100% reported load with the i3. In VALLEY. Other benchmarks? Maybe different story.

Good for a low power CPU like an i3 and a 750ti or less, anything more and you should get something like an XFX TS 550W for a little bit extra http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207013.
