Going on holiday, anything I should do with my rig?

Hey all,

Didn't really know what subforum this fell into so posted in OT.

So I'm going on holiday tonight,Tuesday to Sunday. I'm a fairly overprotective (read: paranoid) PC parent and I just wanted to ask if there's anything I should do with my rig (in my signature) to ensure it's safety while I'm gone? Plug it out, keep it plugged in, anything like that?

Any ideas are welcomed, thanks everyone :)

Put a blanket on it so it doesn't get cold during the night.

Just shut it down and it'll be fine. If you're worried about being robbed or something, take out the SSD and hide it somewhere or bring it with you.

turn it off, take out the GPU and store it separately

take it with you.... or take it appart and have your grpahics card running a benchmark to be warm and cuddle with it... nothing could go wrong... lol

buy for 30 other computers, put it all in the garage including your PC, then write scrap heap or broken on all the pcs.

Give him it enough food (power) and something to drink (liquid cooling) also remember to put a blanket nearby so if it gets cold it can use it and maybe build another computer so it doesn't feel alone.

 

Or you know... unplug it.

Turn it off. You can unplug it if you are really paranoid about it. 

 

No biggy, it will be fine.
