Who the fuck cares? Honestly, why do you get so emotional when someone doesn't like the same things that you do?
If they have certain opinions towards a company's products, why do you have to cry about how their opinion is "wrong" just cause you don't feel the same?

Cherry picking at its finest; they can be on their knees praising Apple for the duration of the video, but they'll still get bombarded with "you hate Apple" if they mention anything that's wrong with the product.
 
The funny thing is, people call them Apple shills when they critique Android and Android shills when they critique Apple.
These fuckers will never be satisfied, they feel as if they're personally getting attacked when someone says something "bad" about a product that they like.

Looks like the iPad Pro is VERY near the perfect college kid device for anybody other than engineering majors (or any other compute-heavy field)
 
The apple pencil is STILL hailed as the best of its breed, so taking notes hand written for things such as law or math classes where there are lots of special symbols and notations will be a treat in tablet mode, and for that 8AM lit class you got fucked taking the keyboard (which i pray is the same magic keyboard on the new air/16" pro) should prove great for writing that research paper due to the much improved maturity of Office 365 on iOS and multi-app support

just the way the boost algorithm is set up. It doesn't throttle in the traditional sense, it operates by increasing the frequency and voltage according to its curve until it hits either the power limit or the temperature "limit", as the card warms up and cools down the clocks change dynamically, and you don't have an overheating issue if your boost clocks are still high

The limitation with Apple is largely RAM on older phones. This is moreso an issue with iPadOS where the 1GB of RAM the early 64 bit iPads shipped with simply wouldnt have been enough. Though, the 3GB on the 6s still more than suffices on normal iOS and I agree that cutting support is 100% artificial. Same goes for cutting support for the 2014 Macbook Air after catalina, when the 2015-2017 model is THE SAME LAPTOP.

Youd have to thicken up the phone quite a bit to make room for the battery, or lose battery capacity. The regained space isnt really there by moving it as the camera already is traditionally on top of other components.

I feel like the 3900x's higher clock really would have helped here.

macOS, even now, is the target of much fewer virus' than Windows is.

Personally, I find gatekeeper to be more than fine with an adblocker. Never gotten a virus in all my time on macOS.

My online accounting course requires the midterm and final exams to be screen recorded and uploaded via Tegrity. I did this on my Macbook Air, and noticed no real performance issues in chrome (though i only had one tab open, admittedly), doing okay sized excel worksheets with lots of formulas, and doing (im assuming native res) recordings of my screen and webcam.
 
Mind you, the upload process (which included re-encoding and compressing the clips) easily took an hour for the ~2 hour recording.
 
I find people underestimate the power of software optimization, as my 2014 macbook air still goes along just fine as my main laptop. On it I do light video editing, and lots of multitasking with Apple Music open, ~10 chrome tabs, discord, and word open while writing research paper. I am ONLY upgrading because of RAM limitations, as 4GB of RAM is finally becoming not enough on the macOS side of things on catalina.

Thats a bug. The same thing happens to me doing literally nothing 😛
