    SLI is pretty redundant nowadays

I'd upgrade the gpu, to a 2070 or 5700 XT  at the least

I believe you are mistaken. Since you have not listed a graphics card I assume you plugged into the video ports of the motherboard, but since the CPU does not have integrated graphics, the motherboard's video ports will remain inactive.

Video ports do not mean the board has integrated graphics.  They are just there because G series CPUs have integrated graphics and need those ports to use that feature.

Any CPU that is not a 2200G/2400G/3200G/3400G will require a dedicated GPU.

Your CPU doesn't have integrated graphics. You will need a graphics card for that system.

Definitely check out used av Receivers then. Only way you'll get close to your price mark.

Your best bet is to look at the local used market for 5.1 AV Receivers.

You'll be hard pressed to find something new in your price category.

Is the sub powered or does it get power from the receiver that came with the kit?

Hello everyone, I will soon be re-building my home theater setup. I am currently using an old Sony system, and I would like to keep the speakers and subwoofer if I can. Does anyone know of a decent 5.1 receiver that isn't too expensive? It doesn't need to be too powerful as the room is small, and as for input I will be using optical. I had an old Cambridge Soundworks system before (I think it was the DTT3500), but I no longer have it. That kind of system would be ideal for me as it is small and worked well, but unfortunately I can no longer find one on eBay. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. As for budget, I would like to spend no more than $60 USD if possible, and I am perfectly fine with getting something used from eBay or similar sources.

If you are building a new system you will be using DDR4.
Not quite. There was also DDR and DDR2 before those, though they aren't relevant at all any more (other than DDR2, it still has uses), and there are plenty more other kinds.

Other than the budget, why not an Apple device? Plenty of people use macOS and Android together.

I have a machine with an E8400 and a GT 710 that runs 1080p video just fine, whether streaming or playing locally.

they would be wired like you do a plug
but those small of single wires cant handle watts that amps produce. they are low voltage ohm wires at this point, remember these are single strand wire. speaker wire has multiple strands of that single one (24 gauge)
you would need to use 2 wires per line min to run a low watt but still i wouldnt
smaller the wire and longer the run causes power drop and degradation of the sound at the speaker

You should look at what hardware decoders the GPU has, not how powerful it is. Even a pitifully slow GPU can happily decode 60FPS 4K HDR videos just fine as long as it has the right hardware decoder.

I already get the corners of some content cut off on my phone since it has rounded screen corners.  Never functionality breaking, but always looks odd when it happens.  It's a compromise that doesn't need to exist for the sake of aesthetics.

    They are not compatible.

Don't be lazy. Takes only 60 seconds to route the cables in the case.
Only use the cables that come with the power supply or ones that are designed to work with that power supply.

You have an Intel system. You will need a new motherboard and RAM to use a Ryzen CPU. The GPU may work, but you may have power and thermal issues in a prebuilt like that.

You may want to look at something like a small FreeNAS box, or just use the NAS functionality built into most decent routers.

The ip's come from your ISP and unless you have a very good reason, you aren't getting more than one.

It is worse battery life. Smaller battery than iPhone 11 Pro Max with higher resolution, 90Hz, more power hungry CPU, and worse Android power management = worse battery life.

This “review” is so biased it’s not even funny. You mention things that are hits against the iPhone that are either untrue or irrelevant. Then your ignore almost all the things I pointed out.
