cesarbg got a reaction from PeppaJoice in Blender crashes when CPU render, any ideas?
SO I build my PC with
Ryzen 5 1400 GTX1050Ti 16GB RAM When rendering ANY type of image or animation in Blender (Windows) and using CPU to render, it crashes after a few seconds. Or it renders 2 frames, but crashes at some point during 3rd or 4thh frame. If I choose GPU to render, it works, and won't crash, thought I feel it should be faster if using CPU. What do you think? Should I stay with GPU and forget about CPU, or try to solve the problem here to render faster?
There is no OC in any part.

But you have to twist them, right? That's what I meant by "screwing". Should have said twist instead hahah.

I always do it whenever I get a new PC. Lots of bloatware.

I guess you were born with all the money and knowledge. The guy is clearly not a tech savvy, and your comments are not helping at all.

Indeed.
It could happen rather soon.

I'd go 2x8 just in case I'd want to upgrade to 32gigs in the future when ram is affordable.

cesarbg got a reaction from PerfectPlasma in What do you guys think of this?
I have a very similar pc, but I think the price for the CPU is very expensive, maybe check other places.
I'd also go for the 1050ti, that's what I got and it runs AAA games to very decent framerates in 1080.

cesarbg got a reaction from LienusLateTips in New build coming soon, hopefully :)
Welcome!
I got a Ryzen 5 1400 + GTX1050Ti + 16GB Ram on Dual channel. It runs Tomb Raider, WatchDogs, Cities Skylines, Fallout 3/4 at around 60-80 fps on ultra. I think it is a decent rig for what I paid for the GTX1050Ti. 1060s will be either too hard to find or too expensive.
Por cierto, soy de México, por si necesitas algo más de info, pregunta.

Don't think so. I have never checked RAM temps, but the price difference is not much, and you keep it cooler.

cesarbg got a reaction from UserXY in help for 1st build
Totally agree with you. If you are using this pc as a workstation, buy the new Ryzen APUs, very cheap, and according to new benchmarks, faster than the equivalents with no graphics. But good ram, fast ram. Get a cheap B350 or even a A300 series chipset motherboard, you won't need overclocking, so buying more than needed is useless. Use the money to get good ram, good SSD and a cheaper APU. I have a Ryzen 5 1400, GTX1050, 1 SSD and 1 HDD, and I have more than enough with my EVGA 500W, not using even half of it.

cesarbg got a reaction from General Winter in Did I get a faulty/dead Motherboard? Ryzen 5 1400, 8GB RAM, GTX1050Ti
It seems it was the RAM. I checked with a different ram and I can access BIOS. I guess I have to return the RAM to Amazon to get a refund.
