wood? not recommended. do you want to burn that thing?

i've used wooden cases before like many people and it's 100% fine, a PC won't be nearly hot enough to start a fire.

i have that in my personnal pc so it will take a long time to go home

Well, about size I can't help you rn then. But that two pyramid idea sounds kinda fun. That platform might not be needed, just some cable routing should work too. You might want to try to make the holes at cables like the 24 pin, 8 pin cpu, pcie connector, rgb headers(?), fan headers, those things.

Well, not when it's all working properly at least...

most other cases are metal and plastic, those are not going to stop a fire, only difference will be that the wooden case will burn up faster.

also when was the last time your pc caught on fire? changes of that is pretty low tbh.

@FL4ww idk if there's any budget involved but you can get a long way with MDF and some clear acrylic.

Well... about never. Well, both would look good, but I like metal/plastic still more. But that's imo

metal/plastic would look a bit cleaner for sure but not sure if OP has the tools for this either, wood is very easy to work with especially MDF which is really soft and you can also paint or wrap the pieces. HERE is a video about what i mean
