Priller got a reaction from SkilledRebuilds in FX 4300 Not good enough for Batman Arkham Origins
In your sig.
" Motherboard: Asrock 960GM (U3S3/FX) RAM: 8GB Team Elite 1600Mhz + 4GB Samsung 1333Mhz"
So what you are saying is that you put an FX cpu on a garbage board with the wrong chipset(760G), 2 different ram makes and models with low speed, and you say your having problems.
You dont say....

So far everything looks like you guys had alittle too much fun making this list.
The only thing I would have left out:
YVONNE(LINUS' WIFE) APPEARS AS A GUEST ON THE WAN SHOW $180,000
What happens if she fires you... OHHHHHH lol

Just increase the voltage slightly and see if your render times drop. If they do then you have the answer. It may stress the CPU differently then the stress testing you have done.

Well, if that is the case, then it is your duty to teach the young one the ways of the #PCMASTERRACE...

Parallel multithreading does not rely on single core performance and allows the entire performance of the CPU to be realized. You would be able to spread the load evenly without having a core(or more) wait for anther core to finish a process before handing it off to another core.
It would also allow games to grow in complexity and definition but the work load involved is astronomical.
Look at something like DCS. Where every system, switch, external and internal is accurately modeled. It can take YEARS to develop a single aircraft for DCS due to the shear complexity. If that level could be reached in FPS games then levelution would just be "old tech".

Just think what would happen if devs would stop being lazy and start to properly code for parallel multithreading.
Then I would be all over a 5960X because there would be a reason to have it.

Priller got a reaction from fringie in AMD's Generous Warranty
I RMA'd a FX-6200 and got a 6350 in return. I also RMA'd a 8150 with the in box watercooler and instead of just shipping the CPU they sent an entire kit with the AIO.
I have also RMA'd 2 7950s and got OC'd 280Xs in return.

Using a low TDP card for testing wont show that much of a delta compared to a high TDP card.

TTL showed the minimums and they were very low in some cases. It would be a stuttery mess.

That's fine. As long as it's really close your ok. Just make sure it's set manually and APM is turned off.
