Don't change the CPU to another kabylake meh option, you'd be far better off with a 9xxx or 3xxx chip. If I was in your situation (wanting to max out new games at 1440/165) I would throw all of the money possible towards the GPU end of things. The 7700 isn't bad, and a 2080 ti + 7700 would stomp on a 2080 + 9900k
Really I'd wait for the next gen of gpus given your already solid 1070 ti

the top pcie slots are cpu pcie lanes, so it won't be affected by whats in the m.2 slots.
m.2 are running off chipset lanes, top 2 x16 slots are running off cpu lanes, they won't affect each other. the gpu won't to x4 no matter what
what not just try it?
But if you got the drives, might aswell run them all you got the slots for it.

In Win 301. Have white version but i think the air flow is terrible and no ODD.
The new CM silencio S400 and NR400 (Mesh front) both model have ODD version but no color white.
Fractal Design Focus G Mini. Mesh front, support 2 ODD but no white.
Meshify C Mini. Mesh front no ODD and white.
Define Mini TG.
All 3 FD case the ATX version have white color

That's the narrow ILM. Most coolers do not support that type of ILM. You'll need a different heatsink.

You can get some crazy silence optimization with 200mm rads/fans. 2 400mm rads will cool anything pretty much entirely silently

I'd get the akasa to be honest, it seems to me that you're having some coolant issues with the aio. It's also a solid looking aircooler, at least on par with older 280mm aios

Damascus reacted to walkerog in 2 HD. One for windows 10 pro 64 bit. One for just for Game installation.
SSD are a requirement for Windows 10.
When you install from default Windows 10 in HDD, you will be stuck with 100% HDD usage and you have to disable Windows Defender, Superfetch, and other things to make it work. And in every update, those settings got enabled again by Microsoft.
So.. Get an SSD for the OS, and if you are on a budget get the HDD for the storage, BUT I recommend a single LARGE SSD 1TB or something.
SSD for Windows
HDD for games and stuff.
or
Large SSD for everything.
