Hey guys, what's up? I just signed up today in this Forum, but i daily watch LTT videos, i'm from Brazil and i'm trying to find a cooler or liquid cooler that could help me better, Currently i have a Corsair Hydro Cooler H115i however i've been experiencing some troubles and i'd like to change it.

So i have a Core i7 6950X running at 4GHz at 1.219v at the Vcore and i wish you could help me with some advices of some new coolers.

PS: I'd rather buy an AIO Liquid cooler or an Air Cooler than a Custom Liquid Cooler.

Get Noctua NH-D15 if it fits inside your case. Its much better than getting an AIO cuz air coolers need no maintenance except cleaning the dust, but that's the same as with AIOs. The NH-D15 for me performed about 25% cooler than my Kelvin S36 that I have now

First of all, thanks for the reply, the problem is that here in Brazil i didnt even found this CPU cooler on the online market, i doubt it i will find it on a regular Hardware store :(

The thing i liked about this CPU Cooler is that actually helps in the air flow around the VRM area, is that correct?

yes, the fan can be adjusted lower if it doesn't interfere with RAM

try this one:

https://www.mercadolivre.com.br/

And the RAM wouldn't be a problem, even though i have an X99 with a lot of RAM slots i only have one stick of DDR4 16GB of RAM, so i can place it anywhere.

But i've found it on the website i was googleling wrong hahah. But could you recommend me a Sealed liquid cooler (AIO) also please ?

This is like the same thing as NH-D15

and also an AIO doesn't necessarily reduce temperatures as you already have 280mm AIO, so an better 360mm AIO wouldn't help

I'd get the akasa to be honest, it seems to me that you're having some coolant issues with the aio.  It's also a solid looking aircooler, at least on par with older 280mm aios

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

Thanks for the help, but honestly i doubt that, that Air Cooler mentioned above (AKASA one) can handle an Overclocking of 4GHz with highest temperatures in Cinebench and Prime 95 as 63°C

Back when I had my 6950x I ran it on an nh-d14, I could run passively at stock or OC to 4ghz at 40c over ambient (ie. 60c if the room temp was 20c, though it usually hung out in the 50's under full p95 load)

For passive it usually hovered around 70-80c, with an ambient of 10-25c and for the OC with fans running the highest temp I recorded was 75c but the average was closer to 60c or less, depending on the day.  I did have several extra fans helping out for the total case airflow when I ran with fans, but none when I ran without.

Oh thats high for me, i'd rather have temperature below 65°C if possíble, i know that the CPU itself wont throtle at this temp, but i'm a little nervous when it comes to temperatures, if you look at my Fan Curve of my Corsair you'll see if the Temperatures hit over 60°C its fans spins up to 100% speed. haahha

This was with all fans at a "silent" curve, went from 0%-30%-70% max

You can get some crazy silence optimization with 200mm rads/fans.  2 400mm rads will cool anything pretty much entirely silently

Thanks, but like i said before i dont care pretty much about noise level because my headset helps blocking most of it. SO i rather have more cooling power
