And what they will do increase the performance by 5% ? You are clearly a wash brained sheep. Stop dreaming and watch the truth in eyes.

By current rummors RTX 2080Ti will be only 30-35% faster than GTX 1080Ti. If compare to previous generation than GTX 1080Ti was 80% faster than GTX 980Ti.

GTX 1080Ti + 50$ or (+7.6%) price increase from last generation but 80% jump in performance!
RTX 2080Ti + 500$ or (+71.6%) price increase from last generation but only 30-35% jump in performance!

the only cards worth buying are the 1080ti and the 2080ti since the lower cards probs don't have enough grunt for RTX anyway.

I couldn't care less about all that RT bullcrap and it looks like nVidia wants to shove RT forcibly deep in our throats.
Well fuck that, I'm not gonna spend all that cash on 2080Ti. I'll be upgrading to 1080Ti from 780 and will be using the 1080Ti for 4 years like I do with my current GPU. The crazy prices pushed me away from RTX bullshit.

100% agree with you! If thats will be true than RTX 2080Ti get's knocked out cold by it's own brother GTX 1080Ti.

Answer is very simple if you are dumb Just buy it! That's just a standard for those sheeps who do not know prices at the performance levels.

Ok, 12,825 graphics score on a 2080ti is really lame.

I can hit 10,985 with my 1080ti. Its not that I cant go higher, but I am constantly hitting the 355W power limit during the GPU2 test even if I run it stock with 127% power limit.
That means that if I OC the VRAM, my core clocks suffer significantly but if I do not OC VRAM then I am losing a lot of points in GPU test 1. If I did shunt mod to increase the power limit, I am sure that I would get at least 500points more.
    https://www.3dmark.com/spy/2045293

But lets just compare without the shunt mod. 16,75% improvement. That is embarassing. Sure, you will be able to OC the 2080ti as well and the gap will be wider but for that price point it is still very embarassing if these results are to be true.
I am not going to any conclusions, still waiting for reviews like the rest of you.

EOZ got a reaction from aezakmi in Will the 20-series be good if RTX is turned off?
Weak = ray tracing on. Even GTX 2080Ti can't handle stable 60fps at 1080p what a crap at highest level.

EOZ got a reaction from Alex Atkin UK in Will the 20-series be good if RTX is turned off?
Better go for GTX 1080Ti. RTX 2080 is to weak to run metro on 1440p at 60 fps. Price difference to is ~ 150 for the same performance.

EOZ reacted to xg32 in Will the 20-series be good if RTX is turned off?
25-35% is rather optimistic, if that was the case we'd seen benchmarks already, no need for all the secrecy to bait out pre-orders. Imho that number will be closer to 10-15% with max oc on both the 1080 ti and the 2080 ti ( RT only actually playable on the 2080 ti, for this reason i'm not even considering the 2080 or 2070. 720p RAY TRACING, GET YOURS TODAY).

25-35% would be good for marketing, the fact they are scared to have direct fps comparisons leads me to believe otherwise. There's also the sketchy benchmarks with the 1080 ti running at slower clock speed than a 2080 just to show a 6% improvement (LOL)

However this is all speculation (fun) at this point, but if i had to put money on it, the 20-series will be below expectations. I'm actually looking at the 2080 ti when benchmarks come out, gonna give RT a chance.

My two cents GTX 1080Ti will knock out cold RTX 2080 in terms of price/performance ratio and that is not even questionable. Turing line is the worst price/performance performing cards in GPU history ever nobody shold buy them for that price.

Costs like a maybach but performs like a true sh*t!

Those are usually called "ranks" as mentioned by @Electronics Wizardy.

It doesn't make a huge difference between single rank and dual rank, but dual rank does allow for more memory on the same stick.

do you mean rank? The sides make no difference, rank make a slight difference.

The difference is veyr small, dual rank is normally a bit faster for a give speed, but doesn't clock as high normally.

EOZ got a reaction from Mortis Angelus in Do you think Zen+/Zen2 will be able to compete with 8700K single-thread performance?
No Ryzen 2 definatley will be slower than i7-8700k in single core performance. Ryzen has some bottleneck problems in this dual chip arhitecture and IPC/Clocks are lower than intel Coffee Lake.

I basically just says that macho rev b fits without any problems (Gladius m45w is just a newer model but it has the same space for cpu cooler)

Edit: Just be carefull when you put side panel on. Do it really slowly and when you see it doesn't fit do not try to close it.

The 1080 is faster, quieter, and more power-efficient, so it's a pretty easy pick as long as pricing looks like that.
