ladies an gentlemen the typical argument from someone who doesn't know crap about rural areas.

so here are some things id like to point out, liberal axed labors nbn plan and the whole "cheaper" thing was BS. it has cost more, and its worse.
also if they Fixed the lines up out here they would be saving money because they wouldn't have to be constantly putting bandaids on 40+ yr old lines that are constantly failing.
the short term recoup wouldn't be be there. the long term they would make money because they wouldn't have to constantly repair the lines. ever week or 2 there is a telstra car thats constantly having to repair the hub out of town and then connection down the end of the road. an thats just 1 road constantly being repaired bi weekly (with several points of failure being fixed)
BUT then there is also Wifi or satellite. even satellite prices and data plans can change between rural an city.

the whole "big country low pop" was the libtards argument and their solution is a waste of money when compared to what we should have got (labors actual functional plan)
Also i didn't choose to live where i am, i grew up here. drought raped the country side (since about 2005), plus jobs dried up. you need money to move. an a job to go to. an neither of those things are about atm.
even IF i moved. the internet in australia is shit across the board. there is a reason we are 68th in the world. kazakhstan has faster internet...

Well it's nothing new an so plenty of cases were disigned for just that. Just more of a hassle then I prefer. Actually more noise with the fans not being muffled by the case and/or fan filter.

Also wiring up 9 fans to a hub and the power to the hub wasn't as clean as I liked but I tend not to have clean builds anyway.

Doing internal cooling isn't losing flexibility, I ran my 540 both ways. It was a waste of time and effort as it yielded no gains. I don't have anything putting off heat in thmy case as everything was under water. Only way I would like it is if I had a small case or really like all the extra tubing and having more to look at. Temp wise is was the same as there's only so much you can drop the temps. Only gain was running the the fans a little slower as I had more rads externally.

Complexity + cost vs ease of use and more or less the same results.

It could be a fun project. It is so overkill and situation specific that it won't likely be a normal thing to do. Add in the downsides, all that exposed cooling. I'd hate if a kid accidentally damaged it, killing my PC in the process.

That being said, it would be fun.

length wise is the typical Murphy bed. thou murphys are normally sunk into the wall to make them flush with the wall. you could do it sideways. be slightly different. also less likely to be kissed in the forehead by a falling bed if something goes astray.. you might get a bruised toe. but thats better than a concussion and wetting your pants

shouldn't be too hard, you could still use a similar system to the length ways, but your torque requirements to hold the bed in width ways will be less than upright, also locking mechs shouldn't be too hard really. i mean the drawing might take abit but its defaintly doable. but also dont reinvent the wheel unless you have to

ok well im a little late to the club, today i got my Cougar Ultimus Blue switch keyboard, it reminds me of a old as hell PS2 keyboard i use to have in feel and the sheer enjoyment i had for typing on my old Compaq RT101 (i believe this is the correct model. picture below of the model i had), it had a tactile feel to it. it was loud clicky sound that was nice to listen to. an then in 2011... after using it for 9 yrs or so... i brought what was a more modern membrane keyboard... it was a bit faster than my old as PS2 KB but wasn't as enjoyable... i went thru several keyboards trying to find another keyboard i liked. the last keyboard i brought was a TTesport Challenger prime (brought it for the Purple LED lights... which BTW super not impressed with) and it was... well it was quiet but easy to fat finger a button and it often didn't register key strokes in fast pace gaming or typing. so you know when you have been typing for 30 minutes on some boring as hell assignment and then you look back at all your work there are bloody letters missing like a hockey players teeth. and besides that... the buttons would get stuck often and it was a real annoyance when that would happen. so i had it. i bit the bullet and ordered a cheap Cougar Ultimus and a Coolermaster MM520 claw grip mouse (yeah im short with small hands so i can claw or palm grip a claw mouse.)

so today my keyboard turned up.. within a few moments of typing on it i remembered how it felt to type on a good keyboard with a tactile feel and that sound is sooo satisfying, i went out of my way to type up an assessment, spent as much of my time typing today and mate... i tell you, mechanical keyboards really do breath life into a mundane task such as typing, and as for gaming. where i normally had to beat a button like a hillbilly beats his sister\wife just to get the damn think to work or register, mechanical switches didn't miss a damn beat (also new mouse... also amazing..i like having that thing in my hand as much as a botttle of beer or my... yep moving on)

as for build. the build on this... steel plated! STEEL!!! i was a metal worker. so when i see "aluminium" well its better than plastic... not my favourite material. BUT them looking to the cheaper options as i haven't been able to work over the past few yrs due to a injury i had to be budget. then on the cheapest mech Keeboo on PCCG Aus, there it was, Steel plated blue switch keyboard. had a bit of a look about, couldn't see much on the board in reviews, just a few people saying they liked it. so i took the leap. brought it. thinking "well hopefully its a good board... least it will have some heft to it.". MATE this thing wont bruise a toe.. it will break it if you drop it on your toe... so top ratings for weight and strength. i want a keyboard that doesn't run away when typing, like females do when i talk to them. moving on to the clicky bait switches... they baited me in with the bluuuuue. yep that feeling gave me the old nostalgia boner. as for the LED back lights. they might be set colors. but really it grew on me like pimples on a teenager. fast and everywhere!. the minimalist design is something i really do like. the lighting effects are cool. i love the ripple effect when you type and you hit a few keys and it sends several ripples across your keeboo. althought if i had epilepsy id probably have had a server episode by now..

i was thinking last yr, how could these mechannical keeboos be as good as people think they are. till i used my mates razor blackwidow and it felt really nice to use.
so since then i decided id get one one day. today was the day it all came together and i realised how good it feels to use something like this, and it really make your setup feel more at home, more advanced. smarter. sophisticated. high tech, more fun. it really does breath alot of life into something as boring as typing. also feels good on the fingers. to anyone who really just wants to wet there toes like they wanted to wet there... johnson... if you can't afford a high end one, even some of the low end ones are really worth getting if it gets you away from the membranes ... which from now on i shall refer to as numbbrain keyboards. also less squeaky sounding buttons. i swear if i had to listen to a squeaky WASD space or delete button for much longer id have to bite off my own ears.

im also looking at moving into the CAD design and i am now going to be looking for a good macro mechanical keyboard. so if anyone has some suggestions on cool mech macro keeboos let me know

I actually ended up making the switch the other day and I love it! Far superior to the reds for my needs. I love how you can feel the little "bump" in the key stroke so you know when the key has been actuated. It's teaching me to stop bottoming out my keys.

$100 here, $50 there, $20 on that, $10 more on that SSD, $60 more here while im at it.. oh oops that added up quick.
that "best gaming" you are talking about has other factors to it as well, SUCH AS if you are not using a high refresh rate panel, you will have to fork out more money, if you have Australian Quality Internet that performance won't mean bugger all, if you sacrifice Storage or GPU power for that High clocked i7 for Performance than you may have crap looking games or few games to choose from. So yes Yes that $100 will matter, because $100 more can add up to $300 in no time. and not everyone has spare cash floating about so that $100 could break the bank, it comes down to the budget after all. you only have to be a few bucks over to screw the whole show. it might be King of Gaming and im not disputing that, but if you are running a 60Hz panel.. you are going to be only using SOME of that FPS, so maybe that extra could go to a better monitor. its all down to what people have.

ArcThanatos got a reaction from Chromatic Partyhat in AMD Vega FE, Missed the point ?
So after reading some comments across the internet on the New AMD Vega FE, it seems that a vast majority of people are completely missing the point to this card, that or they are hating on it for being either AMD or not a 1080 killer.
Here is just some thing people need to remember, Ryzen is a Jack of all trades. its not a pure gaming, nor work station, video rendering monster, BUT what it is, is a balance, something that can do it all, it can do it all and it does it well, might not be that pure gamer or pure workstation CPU but it does both very well. NOW the Vega is basically that in a GPU, its for BOTH (im stressing the Both here as some people seem to have missed this due to GPU's being either Work station or gaming) workstation AND gaming, now it isn't a bad performing card by no means, it is also a innovative idea. The cost that people are shocked about is simply because of Drivers, Professional Drivers for Workstation application are not cheap, they have to be certified.

now as for the gaming side, yes its not a 1080 killer, nor should have people expected a hybrid card to be that (hybrid i mean gaming\workstation), this card is filling a really interesting area on the market.
im getting into CAD, i also like gaming. i have a AMD Ryzen R7 1700 mATX setup. now what im moving into on the CAD designing side is basically Engineering. drawing up and designing the house structure. using a Work station card that can do gaming would be very handy, it would only use 2 slots in my rig and i get BOTH workstation and gaming benifits in a mATX build. this card defaintly has a place in this world. and here in Australia its about $1800 to buy one. but if i want a Quadro workstation card (besides it taking up more space in my PC that is barely there) Id be paying upwards of $3500... plus the price of a gaming card. and possibly a larger PSU.

so rather than expecting this GPU To be the 1080killer people hyped it up to be!. remember this Vega FE is a hybrid of BOTH gaming and workstation an its for the group of people who want to have a workstation and gaming rig, its a great idea, it is also well priced for such a idea and card, AMD is really trying to bring in a great idea alot of people are missing, Workstation\pro grade equipment to the general consumer, it sacrifices a bit of performance to make a great all rounded machine. might not be best in 1 thing, but its good at it all, that is what Vega fe AND the Ryzen (at least the R7 line up) is bringing to the market.
