I dont know about others, but I had really enjoyed some of the stuff with max, I was kinda hoping to see more of her on camera as well, she seemed like she had a good sense of humour and has been awesome one camera (other than her hands, and good looks), also, miss the colourful hair

You are thinking of ThinkPads. Yes the reason why they still have a huge market share, it is because they are build like fucking tanks, a MacBook looks like a cheap toy and is one, compared to a T or P series ThinkPad. They have a insane support and they make everything from the classic office PC to the high end workstation.
 
The only places I have found a lot of macs are in fashion companies, I have seen a couple of macs in manufacturing companies, but that was only a couple of people who just liked the OS more, rest had ThinkPad or Elitebook

personally I'm deeply in love with BB, but i'm also super pisssed at them at the same time

I'm a "classic" owner, and frankly, I was plainly screwed on that phone (as a consumer, not business user) support for apps dying, and being removed etc, 
I love the OS
I love the phone,
i hate typing on a touch screen, with a passion there is a deep hate stemming from both fat fingers and... well mostly that, and the bold was a faultless typer in the day
but the lack of support meant I have in the last few days been thinking "damn it, just for the support alone, worth going to a priv, despite the cost" just being able to use facey messenger in real time would be a bliss (it was removed from the classic, and 3rd aps frankly suck at what was once great) 

there was a debate, between the priv, and my partners note 7, (since recalled, but omg, how crap is the plain S7 next to a note 7??) and the fact I still type lots on my phone meant the priv wins, 

but will blackberry support it, 
till the classic, I would have said yes
but the classic seems about as loved as a red headed step child by blackberry, and I dont want to be buying the priv only for the support to wane like it has with the BB OS as a whole, and the classic, 

will they keep ontop of andriod releases for at least another two versions (ie bring it to the current one, and the next??) or will it be left, unloved???


(kinda tick's me off, this was a company that once you could have bet that your phone would get at least 3-4 years of loving updates and care, and the phones were built for it, or at least easy enough to work on to make them last that long
my old bold went through the black wednesday bushfires in Victoria as both a first responder, and an operations role,. but backed it up for a prolonged first responder role, and running an entire region in Queensland during the  2010/11 floods, only to then back it up with cyclone yasi (and being left on a log for four hours in the shitty weather as a cleared a road with chainsaws, and the brute force of a toyota camry!)

i think apple is to blame, these guys had very little supervision and oversight, and having seen not only the sort of images some people have as a lock screen, and the amount of photo and nudes on those same people phones its an easy thing to copy them

also, just a note, there are three apple stores in brisbane, this was first found in the store at carindale, and it appears to have happened in the brisbane city store too, and could well be something that is wider spread as it appears to be something that a trainer from outside pointed out.

I dont know why they are looking at the car having the smarts, and not having the driver having overall say (thus is the one liable)

I mean we do that for pilots now right, they could have a computer taxi, take off, climb, level out, fly, land, taxi, all without actively controlling the plane beyond inputting the information, but they dont, they monitor it the whole time

I am all for "self driving" cars that mean the drivers are doing the boring part of driving, (keeping in the lane, maintaining speed, parking, etc) it take a load of, and removes for some drivers, something that is so hard they have to have their mouth open to carry it out

but I think that the driver should still be monitoring, and thus in charge of the car, ergo liable, as good as computers are, they are not going to sense that there is a big white truck trailer, or that there is a fire engine screaming up a side road (it might sense it after it is a little late to take a better action) facts are, as good as the tech is, it cant see everything, and the sensors have a limited range (they can see through car windows, and read the traffic beyond the car in front)
I think thats the way we should be looking at it, not some way to offload the responsibility of driving (and the actions of the car)

yeah, you will have people holding on to their note 7, tho, you have to question again the timing, and the remaining risk

in Australia at least, every issue with a phone battery on a plane has in fact been an iphone (not slagging the different camps etc) many related to the Iphone 4 and aftermarket batteries, and with the iphone 6 being easy to bend meaning if they fall down the back of a seat, they can break when the seat is move (the phone bends and breaks into the battery, and that causes issues)
never have those phones been banned on planes, yet there is a history of issues on flights, real issue beyond the world wide note 7 ""explosions"" vs units sold

the same with the old hp batteries, there wasn't a ban on using those laptop battery's

point is the ban on a set single phone type is poor form, there is awareness that is needed by the travelling public, and I think the airlines have missed that chance to single out a phone that is highly unlikely to cause or have been a problem beyond any other LiPo device  

the reported number of failures (and I use the word reported) vs units sold, I think they (samsung) were proactive in the recall, and they are being unfairly punished for being responsible

Linus Media Group is a serious company, it might take some time before they can get to deciding on the winner. After all, they gotta work too.

your cpu falls as under the recommended field, but your gpu currently isnt

personally, I'd throw the extra money on a 1080, then upgrade the rest later, rather than going a 1070 and an upgrade 

yeah, your cpu in some cases will be a bottleneck but not in all, and really at best gaming wise, you'll only pull another year or two out of that rig playing new AAA's, and the 1080 should give you a year or two of use over a 1070 playing the future games 

just my two cents, and more learned people my think otherwise, but your money and frankly new card and mobo update vs just GPU, either is going to be better than what you've got now
