I mean at that point society, the friends and family of this guy already failed hard.

Of course you never know what goes on inside a person's head but you don't kill yourself because some AIChatbot tells you so, you already decided to do it and just search for approval. He couldn't find that approval with humans, maybe because he doesn't have any human contacts or because he was not able to find help by himself and others didn't notice.

Edit: I am not victim blaming or anything, just saying AI isn't some weird overlord that makes us do stupid stuff. At least not yet lol.

It could also just be "stuck". That stuff happens. have you tried turning it off, disconnecting it from the wall, waiting a bit and then turning it on again?

Thanks for the concern everyone. We are still in recovery mode over here and working with YouTube to get everything restored. Will hopefully have a video (or at least an update on WAN Show) to share with you all ASAP, but we want to make sure we get the details right since smaller channels may rely on our experience to help harden their own security.

Since you have a high resolution display I'd only do GPU for now. CPU is still decent, unless you want to focus on more cpu intensive tasks.

Well your new router probably doesn't have modem function and that's what you need theirs for.
You can probably put the ISP Router in "modem mode" so it does pretty much nothing except feed the internet to your router and yours does all the other stuff.

Or in case your new router does have modem functionality you can theoretically skip the ISP router completely.

Yep. Some 3rd party seller had it on sale at Wal-Mart's website for $29.99. I figured it was either a pricing error or a scam, but for $30 I was going to shoot my shot regardless. It arrived early, was a TV, and free shipping. Was a very Merry Christmas for me that's for sure.

I work in the corporate AV space in Washington DC, and this one time a doctor at a conference asked me to help him with his personal laptop. I say sure, and the guy asks me where the power button was on his own laptop, his personal machine. I showed him where it was, he thanked me, and that was it. It kind of ruined me.
