I'd suggest not trying to electrically damage your laptop. I think it's probably unlikely to break anything farther back in the chain than the DAC, but I'd avoid taking that risk.

Pretty much, there could be internal damage in the headphone jack, or damage to its connection to the motherboard. The jack might be able to be repaired, and replacing it would almost certainly fix it, but it's definitely going to void the warranty.

I'd suggest just getting some sort of USB audio device, it will likely be much easier.

I'm having this exact problem except on Unturned, another BE game.

its a shame this wasn't solved. I'm quite upset about this. The game launches just fine without BE, but with BE it gets stuck

Grab some ferrite rings and put them on the ends of the cable. They are good for reducing interference.

Whatever was shorted, the most likely thing that happened is that the ROM chip that holds the OS was damaged.

Laniakea reacted to FAZIN in amplifier hiss
It depends whether its is a hissing sound or a buzzing sound. A hissing sound could indicate noise on your audio line. This could be helped with the right capacitor across your audio signal. A buzzing sound could indicate a ground loop somewhere in your circuit.

If you were to close the battery switch while connected to your laptop the voltage amp may sink current and be damaged.

Laniakea got a reaction from zachsa999 in Message delivery weirdness - Whatsapp
I must have observed this phenomenon a couple of times as of now and I think it is a thing and not just my luck. I send 2 messages back to back to some of my friend who probably went to sleep couple of hours before I sent those messages and their phone was on idle this whole time. So what happenes is the first message I send to them gets delivered instantly (2 gray ticks) and the message I send immediately after that one gets stuck on 1 tick, and it stays like that till they wake up and check their phones. Now the thing here is I never asked any of my friends if they were not sleeping and turned their internet off immediately after I sent them a message in the middle of the night but after this happening with so many people that many times, it's pretty unlikely and has a different explanation that's about whatsapp's inner workings. Now, did anyone experience the same thing as me or am I the only one? Any idea will do, thanks.

Laniakea reacted to vf1000ride in 10K Potentiometer vs 100K Pot
The difference in the sensitivity comes from the ratio of the change in resistance per degree of rotation.  Assuming they both rotate the same amount and are both linear from zero to max the 0-10K pot will change a smaller amount of resistance per degree due to the 0-100K needing to cover 10 times the resistance in the same number of degrees of rotation.

Like in some cases the actual wire inside is too thin to support anything higher than that.

Ehm yeah I have couple other problems sir :d Firstly my budget is like100$ top  I'll buy the parts from sites like e-bay equavilent sites in my cocuntry. So the speakers don't have very detailed specifications about their specs. And I wrote one of the dimentions of the box wrong, it should've been 7cm max depth, not 15. Soo a very slim speaker build. Aaand when it comes to the amplifiers :dd I was planning to buy those 500 gram ones that you mentioned, because only they fit in my budget. And I'll make a wooden enclousure myself so the box is not a probem.

To recap and make the point of the article clearer, I need help building a very very budget speaker and I need to make it decent with that kinda parts, if I had the money I would get legitement parts but unfortunately that's not the case and I need a bit of a help, because I don't know what to look out and be cautious about when looking for cheap parts.

I wanna build a (not necessarily)bluetooh speaker that doesn't take much space, has around 250W RMS power, runs on battery, that I can take to places. Oh and I'm on very tight budget lol. I'm not asking anyone to do it all for me but I'm rather seeking for all the information I can possibly gather, so any help is appreciated.
So firstly The design I have in mind looks something like this:

So the questions I really need the answers for:
*How large of a volume I would need so the Sub won't get bottlenecked?
    *Sealed or ported box?
I wanna go all on Sub but how many watts mid and tweeter should be so they don't get overwhelmed by the subs sound?
*How can I choose a cheap amplifier -circuit- that doesn't suck?
And anything that comes to your mind that looks not right about this project, tell down below.
You can link any document or video that adresses those questions.
    Thanks

Yeah this topic is going no where.

Pretty much you have answered your own question.
    You have 4 clear options;
If the Ram is good then sell it and walk away. If the ram has possible issues, sell it "as is" and walk away. If the ram has known issues, sell it being open about it (transparency is always best). If you cant sell it or give it away for parts toss it and walk away.

Throw it in the bin? You know it has issues so instead of trying to sell it on to someone and "telling them it wont cause problems", get rid or just give it away.
