James7176 got a reaction from Sfekke in White PC Build
Throw an accent colour in. The black and white is very clean but it would be nice to just add a touch of colour. For example my PC is Black and Gun Metal but I have a touch of Gold. Just think it looks nice to spice it up a little rather than just 2 colours in the palette

James7176 got a reaction from Fresonis in Can this PSU handle this overclocked build and is there a compatibility issue?
The case is modular meaning you can remove some drive bays, basically the graphics card will overlap the bays so you will need to remove 1-2 but that’s fine.
The M.2 error just means that 2 of the SATA ports on your motherboard will be disabled to used the M.2 slot. This is normal on high end M.2 SSDs.
Essentially your motherboard has 8 SATA 6GB ports but with the M.2 SSD installed you can only use 6 due to the SSD using 2 on its own.
Secondly the power supply should definitely suffice.

You can install upto 6 other SATA devices
there is a website that actually calculates a quite accurate continuous wattage for PC builds but I’m not sure on exactly what it’s called anymore

James7176 got a reaction from Delir12 in Budget gaming pc
For 300 EUR you're really going to be looking at second hand parts anyway.
The usual suggestion is some old i3/i5 optiplex and a 1050ti
Dell Optiplex-780 (With Win 10)
GTX 1050TI
2TB 7200RPM HDD
Dell - 93 EUROs
GPU - 155 EUROs
2TB HDD - 57 EUROs
Total Build cost: 305 Euro

James7176 reacted to kelvinhall05 in Is this a solid build
1. Get a B350 motherboard
2. Get higher clocked memory (3000MHz+)
3. 1TB HDD
4. I'd personally get a 1050TI with a not so expensive cooler, but it's your choice
