Hmm basically other logitech mice . The newer Razer mice have a somewhat similar coating. Im referring to the DA 2013, Naga 2014, and ourborous. I dont know if the Rival will peel of flake it might just get shinier over time. Its has to say as I doubt anyone has used on long enough yet to get to that point.

Giving someone requested advice that is based on personal experience and an educated opinion is not snobbery. Especially considering most people are not recommending he spend more money on unnecessary gear.

I like the G600s it's so good my dad decided to steal it off me for his office use -.- but my hands is still shaped for the ouroboros. That's the best mouse I've ever used so far. Tho it might change when my steelseries rival comes in zz.

120hz is worth it if you have the power to drive 120fps.
Also 2ms means very little, they all measure that figure differently, so its kinda meaning less, as long as its not too high like 20+ its perfectly fine.
What you want to look out for is INPUT LAG, that can cause many issues.

Its close to the da 2013 but a bit shorter and quite a bit longer. Also its butt is fatter. The back button is considerably larger than the forward one. But I forgot to mention this earlier but for me it feels like im ever so slightly having to reach for the forward button. This is fine and I plan to make in the dpi change button when gaming as the standard one is much to hard to reach to do it smoothly.
The ouroboros it just a textured plastic from what I remember to yes after heavy use it will smooth out. This reminda me of the g700 vs g700s. The g700s when new is no where near as coarse and has bigger pieces of texture than the g700 but as far as I can tell the one I got on launch has not smoothed out much if at all. The g700 almost feels like sand paper and wears very quicky. From looking at both mice I think the g700 had the texture sprayed onto it possibly and the g700s's is actually molded right into the plastic. Now back to the mamba I believe its like the da 3.5g and is soft touch plastic. That comes off for many people actually. It does for me but no where near to the extent your speaking of. The standard soft touch plastic does however make my hand sweat like crazy. It was the worst witb the steelseries ikari laser and steelseries xai. This new steelseries rival however didnt make my hand sweat during the few hours ive used it so far and but still does have a soft touch plastic feel to it but its not that classics soft touch plastic feel if you know what I mean. Only more time and some gaming with it will tell me if it makes my hand sweat though.

How can you review ergonomics when every bodies has different sized hands/fingers? The software is a a thing that will affect everybody.

They aren't comparable. At all. Its like comparing a pie to a cell phone. The only similarity is that both products success will rely on their adoption rates. Mantle will give AMD cards a performance boost (how much is unknown) but ONLY in games developed on Mantle. G-sync makes any game played look better (IMHO Nvidia would be smart to license this to Intel and AMD quickly to speed adoption), any monitor with the correct slot can take a G-sync card (so far only 4 are confirmed but as soon as the upgrade kit comes out reviewers will start tearing panels apart to check for compatibility). Mantle will not 'blow G-sync out of the water' neither with G-sync destroy Mantle, they do not operate in the same product space, one is hardware one is an API (dev tool).

Mionix, Ducky, Sennheiser (in the gaming environment) should get some attention.

Install the UNI drivers. The Asus drivers are notorious for being terrible.

Yes 480mm rad-space should be ok. I would go for more rads because if you have dual 780 setup saving money is kind of a joke.

ahm, dude, tripple 120 means 360 and dual 120 means 240.
