Wolther got a reaction from DrDerp in Can you see above 60fps?
I notice it even with just mouse pointer movements.

Wolther got a reaction from themctipers in Mozilla Reality
So no pictures okay. Is there any benefit to using vr on the web? Like you probably are going to be using a mouse and kb anyways, maybe not a mouse but certainly a kb.

Wolther got a reaction from Bensemus in Apple now powered by 100% renewable energy
The more companies that become 100% renewable, the more companies using fossil fuels will get flamed for not making a switch. Which is a very good thing
Atleast that’s what I predict

Wolther reacted to Trik'Stari in FBI dragged its feet to force Apple to weaken encryption
Thank you.
Starting to feel like everyone's on goddamned LSD and I'm the only (semi)sane person left.

gamers nexus also did a video on this. Near the end he shows a statement from intel to gamers nexus stating that they had no part in it.

Wolther reacted to cj09beira in Ryzen 1600 overclocking
considering thats a pretty heavy workload you will be fine, and thats also not a bad voltage to be at, if you get a better cooler you can probably push a bit more

Wolther reacted to DildorTheDecent in Ryzen 1600 overclocking
>stock cooler
Please no. Get yourself a proper cooler and pull that load temp down.
-
Wolther reacted to Jurrunio in Ryzen 1600 overclocking
Dont push more, the CPU is getting on the line between 'acceptable' and 'too high for long term use'. Try reduce the voltage if you can.

Wolther reacted to vanished in FSLabs intentionally installing DRM that can steal your passwords
"remember me" uses cookies and lastpass is something completely different, but using the browser's built in "remember password" function is very easy to get things out of.

Wolther got a reaction from Balrog0fMorgoth in i5 6400 vs ryzen 5 1600
Well In that case I would buy a unlocked intel processor and push the frequency

Wolther got a reaction from Balrog0fMorgoth in i5 6400 vs ryzen 5 1600
You shouldn’t be experiencing issues with web browsing, and playing games like lol/overwatch
Can you describe more about what is bothering you
-
Wolther got a reaction from Balrog0fMorgoth in i5 6400 vs ryzen 5 1600
If that’s all you do it won’t improve anything. I5 6th gen should be more than enough to handle that. I would look at other components that make you feel like it is sluggish.
Ram could be if it’s not 8gb
A gpu, a 1050 ti is a perfect budget card and is more than enough for those games

Wolther got a reaction from Chuck03 in Final build list
There’s nothing against electronic components being brought into the plane but if they suspect anything or feel suspicious 99% of the time it won’t be allowed. I haven’t brought a computer component on a plane so I would definitely ask the company giving the flight

This is why even with anti-virus/malware protection you can't be dumb on the internet. There will always be exploits found no matter how well something is programmed

Wolther reacted to BYOGamingPC in 2017 Holiday Deals Compilation [US] [UK]
I'm in the midst of putting together my annual Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and everything in between and all around Holiday Deals list. I do this each year to keep organized all the deals for myself but share it in a Google Doc for other to use too. Just don't buy out the things I'm trying to get! Also, I update it fairly frequently during the next couple weeks so feel free to check back.

Wolther got a reaction from DudeWazap in Google Fiber now offers gigabit for $55 per month to one City
I wish google fiber would spread more easily, doubtful it ever will though. Competition is something we need in the US
