i changed the startup wallpaper of my laptop to a bluescreen once.
 
then a while later the cooler died again, and i had to send it in for repairs, i forgot to thell them that, and they were like "THE DUCK IS THIS"

I am on the Xeon side right now.

I chose the Xeon because it was recommended for video editing. i7 doesn't make sense like you said. I might go with skylake, or this. I'm not sure yet.
I'll change the SSD.
