Is this CPU cooler any good?

Finn the Potato

looks like it should be fairly effective. Are you overclocking? what cpu? what cooler do you currently have and what temps are you getting?

i would still go for the hyper 212. just because it has a well established reputation.

i believe it's about as expensive too.

yeah just checked, they go for 25 bucks on ebay.

I am planning a build. I'm currently using a laptop heatsink on a laptop.

CPU will be Xeon E3-1231 V3

Its actually better than the 212 evo anyways, so you'd be better off.

well looking about on google, tech powerup gave it a good review, even against the 212. I think you will probably be ok

I am far from the most knowledgeable person in the world lol, so do some googling for yourself to double check my findings.

Looks 99% like Hyper evo 212.

CPU only supports up to 1600mhz memory.

Eww case.

MSI motherboards look better xD

Other than that, I think I might go with this, except with an MSI mobo, and modular power supply, different case. I'll go with a 620w though.
