It looks like longitudinal chromatic aberrations or spherochromatism. That type is caused by the lens focusing different colours of light at slightly different distances, usually going purple in one direction, green in the other. The hardware fix is buy a better lens but there are essentially no perfect lenses, so it is a question of how much there is. It might be mitigated to an extent by stopping down effectively making the focus converge more, but highlights like those can still overpower it. Software fix is to selectively remove purple when it happens.
 
Adding a filter could influence it since it does change the optical path of the system, but not to a significant degree.

That's purple fringing, results from poor quality lens. I doubt the polarizer is the culprit but you could compare with/without, if it's the same it's just the lens/camera.
 
Lightroom has a "Defringe" setting, this was by moving just one slider a bit.

Thank you everyone for all the responses. You guys inspired me to keep EE as a career. I think EE is important because like many of you guys said it's the building blocks of many. I'll continue to research more specific paths of EE and try to figure things out. 

Looking only at vehicle (car) industry you can conclude that electrical engineers will be needed a lot.

Then why would you get airpods? Most of the features wont even work. Not worth it. Icon x is good but also look into other options.

There's no point getting the AirPods if you are on Android. It will work, but just not as good as using it on native iOS devices.
Also, being an Android user also gives you more choices, not just IconX.
Other choices includes (but not limit to): Jaybird Run, Bose SoundSport Free, Bragi Dash, Jabra Elite Sport, Erato Apollo 7, Yevo 1, etc.

I had these issues with my Razer Blade 14, and to  a lesser extent my XPS 13 running an external 4K display. Seems like it's just Windows Display Scaling being shit.

Have you looked into the Fitbit Ionic? I haven't, but it's supposed to blend both worlds. It should also get battery life that's a lot better than most full fledged smartwatches.

I'd personally go with a smartwatch, most likely the Gear S3 (more on that in a bit).  I use an Apple Watch Series 3 myself but am familiar with the other options.
 
Fitness trackers can be more accurate than smartwatches, but that's debatable with a Fitbit... and more importantly, you get more flexibility and utility out of a smartwatch.  You're not completely locked into one company's fitness software, and you'll have a device that gives you more reasons to look than to check your step count or heart rate.  I use my watch for email alerts (is that work email really worth pulling out my phone?), music, weather, even just finding out when the next bus or train is due to arrive.
 
I give the nod to the Gear S3 because Android Wear feels... compromised right now.  Google's app ecosystem is wider than Samsung's, but Android Wear has the one-two combo of an imperfect interface and lackluster hardware.  The S3 has its quirks, but it's arguably easier to navigate, has a nicer hardware design than the LG Watch Sport and offers enough app choice.

I find Siri to be a very useful tool especially in the car when I'm trying to put in destinations or get directions to the nearest whatever-I-need. Siri handles texting and browsing very well in English, but she needs some work with Spanish or French. 

As far as it is not android specific question then I think that array of strings with file names and the slider value would be an index of the array, just make sure to check if the value is not out of array's bounds. Then you get a file name from the array by index (value of slider) and play it, so no ifs.

I was focused on the AsRock because of the better VRM design. I started my research with the videos Actually Hardware Overclocking made about the different X370 motherboards. I do agree the BIOS in the AsRock is a pain to work with but maybe they will fix it in the upcoming updates. I know ASUS is the more popular board and maybe it will get added features first before the others. 
 
Both boards are very good but I just cannot make up my mind. The AsRock BIOS is a little annoying but I hope they will fix it. 

Don't get anything too powerful with a good graphics card or you will end up playing games and not studying. This is of course if your self control isn't in check.
