Normal fan thickness and using a XR5 rad from corsair. I don't know the thickness of the rad off the top of my head. The vertical gpu bracket is the specific addon part from Lian Li. It leaves about 5mm of clearance above the fan that is directly below it. It has slots in each location where you can mount the riser so air is able to flow through it at some capacity. Fans are Arctic 120mm PST PWM fans. They have a great noise floor at medium rpm ranges, similar but not the same as a noctua but substantially cheaper.
 
Edit: I would recommend waiting until they release the 011D Evo XL. More support for different configs that might help you out.

On the Best Buy side of things I asked a worker of the PC section of the store. He came off very annoyed and aggravated when I asked if they have had physical stock in-store the day of release for new GPU launches in the past. Almost like I was asking him for Best Buy trade secrets or something. He even said that some employees are wanting to purchase the cards implying that they would be holding the cards for employees first or something. This as a Best Buy in Virginia Beach, VA. So your mileage may vary. 

It's a good instinct. Memory overclocking can be a real tedious and frustrating pain. But it can be fun, too.

In that case, you might want to check the BIOS, too, to see if it has an option to wake from S5 (shutdown). If so, toggle that off and it should hopefully comply. It's also possible its standby power is getting interrupted somehow at night, and it's set to automatically power on after power failure, which is also something you should be able to toggle off in the BIOS.

The FX 6-Core, like most CPUs from AMD, delivers reasonably good server orientated multi threaded performance and consequently good processing thoughput at a reasonable price tag. Where the FX 6-Core lacks is in the area of single core performance which although not normally a major problem for server workloads, is always very relevant to desktop users. The overall performance of the FX 6-Core is comparable to Intel's five years older Core i7-950. There are server orientated use cases where the FX 6-Core will excel thanks to its excellent overall throughput and in those instances the FX 6-Core represents good value for money. Just a note: If it doesn't split, you are probably trying to use the 8x PCIe connector instead.

Just don't get too used to it. When I switched from a 5ms to 1ms panel I couldn't play a single game of CSGO without some kind of feeling of awkwardness.

Buzzing sounds very worrying, not worth debating if it's a good time or not. Better replacing a 2yo PSU than having to replace your entire system. Waaaaaay cheaper!

You try removing the GPU first then, interchanging RAM modules. At that point it doesn't work I would say its the MOBO, but probs not cause it's obviously lighting up and giving you output codes right? Unfortunately it may be your processor. Honestly hard to diagnose without other spare parts to test with. 

I heard Mad Max gets boring and repetitive within 6 hours gameplay. I would start with MGS. Heard it's game of the year material to head against the amazing Witcher 3.

I will point out an air cooler like the Cryorig H7 would probably be quieter as the pump is almost always the noisiest part of an AIO.
 
An Air cooler and some better case fans will likely be cheaper than any AIO you can find.

I have the orion spark and came from a logitech g19.
I find the keys nice and big, the key caps have a small indent that seem to channel your finger to the mid section of the key.
The keys are nice and big with ide say medium to large travel between keys (they feel slightly larger than my g19).
The switches are responsive and solid.
If you have any other logitech gear the G software is alright, nothing else extra to install
The palm rest is about medium in length and comes with a smaller palm rest included in the box.
All in all i would definitely recommend it (i know you say its the non-RGB version of the orion).
