External drive internally

Go to solution Solved by SweetProductions,

Thanks guys, saved my a$$ Happy Holidays.

I have managed to break the Mini-USB port on my external drive which i have critical work on, is there a way for me to install the drive internally in my pc insted, as i noticed it has a SATA port and a power port on the drive it self.

The drive is a Seagate Momentus 5400.6 250GB.

If it's just a hard drive in an enclosure, you should be able to take it out of the enclosure and it'll have standard SATA connectors.

Yes, you can use the standard SATA connectors in a PC.

The external drive just has a normal internal drive inside.

Yes, you can just take it out and use it.
