Sorry! I'm specifically looking for metal to match an aesthetic as all other sockets are metal.

192.168.100.1 is a common IP for modems. My SB6141 uses the same IP. This is a private address that should be use to access the modem if you should need to. The modem should just pass the IP address that your ISP has assigned to you to the PFsense box, which would be the WAN interface. You will then setup you DHCP on the PFsense box to 10.0.10.x.

As the other said, that the management LAN for the modem so you can get in to switch it back to NAT mode or monitor the line stats.

I believe you can setup a Virtual IP on the WAN port and a NAT rule to allow any client on your LAN to access the modems IP address, if you should need to access the modems UI.  Other than that as others have said you should be assigned a normal public IP address by the modem for Internet.

Your ISP may also be blocking the port.

To be fair, FTP over TLS is a pretty odd choice.  Most people go for SCP or SFTP.

Chea bro.  If your APs do tagging (the UBNT ones def do) then it's as simple as binding each SSID to a specific VLAN and just trunking the VLANs you want to the AP.

Yah. The switch being able to do SVIs is easier but if not then so long as it can trunk and pass VLAN tags and the router can do dot1q sub-interfaces then you're good.

im not so fussed about prime video, but i will admit the shipping is nice to have. although as you said talking to someone who replies with something off a cue card isnt always the easiest.

The monitor definitely sounds as though it's defective. Just to confirm you could plug in another device and see what happens before you RMA it. GL ?

9900ks overclock better as Intel are binning the better dies for the i9 but just for gaming i would say that the i7 is the better option

Why are you guys still arguing about this?
    1) it's CLEARLY AND BLATANTLY A SCAM.
    2) the guy wants to meet you at his house so he can MURDER YOU. Why do you think he said "no costco, starbucks or halfway house?"

Any HONEST seller would meet you at a safe place.  Like a police station.  Police even WANT people to meet them there for sales so they know they can be safe.
If someone meets this guy in person and you get injured or killed, it's your fault for being an idiot.  Sorry if that hurts someone's feelings here.

He said no to meeting in a public place "Cash on collection from L34DY. NO STARBUCKS OR COSTA OR HALFWAY PLACE its my place only and post code is there." Seems fishy and maybe even dangerous.

Yes, that leaves a lot of red flags. Especially "no PayPal or cheque or Nigeria cashier postal orders", Nigeria is highly known for scamming people in this way.

Wire transfers cannot be reversed once sent. It leaves you absolutely no protection.

If the seller is smart enough to blur out the serial number, I'm sure he/she knows the true value of the laptop.
    I wouldn't buy it.

The CPUs in the 23xx family are on eBay for under 20$ a pair, I can toss that at the system.
I was hoping to find a pair of 6-core ones, but again, upgrade info is slim, hence my question(s)

Oh, so they just GAVE it to you and don't want it back, huh?  Cuz that's how companies make money, giving away laptops...
