i7 9700k vs i9 9900k?

I just bought an i7 - 9700k but i wanted the i9 9900k and i can return the 9700k and go to another store, buy the i9 9900k and throw it into the Asus Rog Strix z390-H-gamingLGA1151 DO YOU GUYS THINK THIS IS WORTH DOING?

I should say that I am building this PC specifically for CyberPunk 2077 1080p/1440p +100fps maybe 4k if i get one of those monitors

9900ks overclock better as Intel are binning the better dies for the i9 but just for gaming i would say that the i7 is the better option

4k Gaming is simply Not worth doing. Stick to 1440p 144hz Monitors.

9700k/9900k will perform about the same, I prefer the 8700k over the 9700k Due to Hyperthreading not breaking some titles Like GTA V or Red Dead Redemption 2 for some peps

but its boxing day do you think the i7 9700k(already bought but can return for 9900k) paired with 32gb 3200mhz ram is a good upgrade from the i7 6700k paired with 16gb 2133 mhz OC'd to 2666)

OR should i go return the 9700k and buy a 9900k i also have a rog stix z399-gaming mobo and an h100i pro AIO
