Yah. The switch being able to do SVIs is easier but if not then so long as it can trunk and pass VLAN tags and the router can do dot1q sub-interfaces then you're good.

I am upgrading my network to look like something in the image ive attached. However, will i be able to use the existing AP's ive circled to provide wifi access to users on the guest VLAN network as well as for users on the LAN? - assuming that the AP's are capable of VLAN'circled.thumb.png.eb6e0c1a4d0c935abea2c4351a86bfe1.pngs.

thanks

If the APs can do VLANs then you need to figure out if the switch supports VLANs as well along with the ability to create SVIs (assuming an L3 capable switch) or if you have a router that can do dot1q sub-interfaces.

Chea bro.  If your APs do tagging (the UBNT ones def do) then it's as simple as binding each SSID to a specific VLAN and just trunking the VLANs you want to the AP.

PC : 3600 · Crosshair VI WiFi · 2x16GB RGB 3200 · 1080Ti SC2 · 1TB WD SN750 · EVGA 1600G2 · Define C
