    A case being "older" does not mean it's inherently worse, devalued or performs it's job worse than it would if it was brand new. Granted, In a shootout between a Fractal Pop Air, G300A and a 215 it gets it's metaphorical d*** kicked in for build quality, airflow potential and build quality. Ask me how I know 😉. But in this instance, a Q300L would have been just fine, and at $40 is a good value for a case, and is very desk space efficient.

     

    I also happy to see (as linus was) the importance of case selection in general.

    F@H does still support CPU folding; it's just "inefficient" in points compared to GPU folding. However, GPU folding has different molecule Work Units associated with that work, so CPU folding is still important for research (thank you @leadeater)

    4070 Super CUDA cores are greatly boosted, and 4070ti super gets an extra 4GB GDDR6, so if I was looking at those cards I wouldnt even bother looking around classified ads.
