Theguywhobea got a reaction from Falcon1986 in Router giving out IP's outside of DHCP range?
I think the rouge DHCP server just gained some more merit. My desktop was doing this again today so I decided to do a network audit. Ran AngryIP and found a device on my network that had a web server running that I couldn't access. It had no name in the router table and when I looked up the MAC it was some Shenzen Trolink company. I went through a mental list of all my network devices and couldn't figure out what that could be so I blocked it from accessing the network at all. After doing that I ran a /release /renew on my desktop and was able to grab the correct IP. I think that maybe fixed it?

You can't buy PC hardware at the same cost of PS5 / Xbox MSRP due to those being sold at a loss, but Sony and Microsoft make it up on the other end through software sales. PC component manufacturers can't sell their hardware at a loss.

I haven't bought any PC parts from them in a long time, but I have recently bought car parts from them and it was a pleasant experience. They have good prices and they shipped it all quickly, however I would hesistate to buy from them in the future after watching Gamers Nexus's video on them

Very sad, I've been a member on Notebookreview almost as long as I've been a member here. LTT forums are great, but if you want to fix an old laptop there is no replacement for them. So far it seems like they wont hand over the database and they didn't leave us with enough time to backup the forums manually... Hopefully someone is able to get something thrown together atleast just to archive what is there now.

Should probably just pick out a pre-built system for your friend, really the only way to not pay 2x to 3x the price for a GPU.

Theguywhobea got a reaction from NullVoxPopuli in How do you find detailed information about laptop motherboards?
The full wiring diagram for that laptop (and most laptops) probably isn't published anywhere. The only thing I could think you may be able to do for the keyboard connector would just be to probe the pins on the board side and see where they connect to on the keyboard side and see if you can trace it out.

Oh yeah I figured, I should have been more specific. I just meant to use it as kind of an example that you can get away with some decent security cameras even using the cheaper ones on Amazon and even if you're over wifi. For your reference I think I paid about $50 for each camera. I wish I had a better suggestion for these, but the only others I've done any research or seen anything on are the ubiquiti cameras

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I'm still stuck on these old Hondas, but it would be nice if they made a new type R with a little milder styling, or brought back the S2K

Well guys, after much deliberation I sold my 1992 Miata with the hardtop and all. It was going to be parked for the winter anyways as the heat didn't work, and it always seemed like it had some kind of transmission problem, so I decided to move on.
