Real NAS' have ECC though, so consider getting a server board for the Xeon here with 32gbs of ECC memory

Neither. Toshiba is a reliable company. Depending on when it was made, it could essentially be a Hitachi drive since their 3.5" drive assets got sold to Toshiba.

They are hhd's now a days they are all going to be at least goodish if you know the name (or heard of it), it is a great deal even if it is a "badish" drive for 20 bucks (thats half off) its a grrrrreat deal!~ Cheers! Hope i helped.

well would you still suggest the r9 280? i am willing to up the psu an get the better card as i have a second system that could use this card and psu! thanks for all the grate feedback i posted this on teksydicate and tomshardware a bit before i posted this and this is the only one with replys yet you guyz are great!
