Get an NZXT S340, or one of Fractals ultra cheap Core series*can't say I'm in love with them either*  but the S340 is like Lord GabeN shit out a budget friendly rainbow, and the S340 was what was at the end of it.

I personally love my Mionix Naos 7000, but don't worry too much about it. I still switch around my Naos 7000 and some cheap $5 non gaming mice and still play just as good in games.

I am slightly biased, but I have the Sennheiser hd558s and the sound quality on those things are great! I can only imagine the 650s will be even better. That being said, they do leak a LOOOOOTTTT of sound, so I'm not sure about it for you. Just my 2cents.

7.1 is a gimmick. Any quality pair of headphones will blow either of these out of the water for slightly more. Although I have heard the the clouds are a lesser evil and are the best headsets out there.
