So far running the game well. Performance is actually pretty good. Running everything max on 2560x1080 with a 980Ti. I just set my FPS to MAX and V-Sync off and no problems. Runs great. I wonder if most peoples issues revolve around the FPS being locked to 30FPS by default. Even setting it to 60FPS caused me frame drops but soon as I set it to MAX it worked well.
 
Also check out my Chomp Runner I found! If you love exploring this a game for you. But if you want a story to follow... probably not. This game you make your own journey. But it can turn into finding a Chomp Runner. Or a Flying whale like my brother found. Loving it so far.

This game has been exciting me for quite a while, however it failed on PC, I know it will be fixed soon, though, when it is, will you buy it? Do you like the game from what you see or is it boring to you? I am curious to know the opinions about this game.
EDIT: Guys I have just found out a possible fix for the lag and crashing. Try to turn off Vsync and cap FPS to max

Have you tried adjusting your FPS setting to MAX? I had problems at first even when setting it to 60. But soon as I set it to MAX. I was getting great frames and it runs well.

I pre-ordered it yesterday. Won't be home until tonight. I'm interested in trying it out. I see a lot of bad reviews as well. But i'll judge how the game is within the first 2 hours. I would imagine they would resolve any issues that gamers are having as soon as they can. But from what I understand they are a small shop of developers. So they are probably moving as fast as they can. I'm watching a few twitch streamers and it appears to be running fine.

He's complaining about his terrible experience with Razer, even though he has no warrantee on his product. Razer has no obligation to him, only the original owner and purchaser.

How? 980ti =/= 1080. From what I have seen in this thread you cannot conclude that Vulkan is miles better than DX12 at all. Unless I missed something in the videos? It could be the 1080 or it could be Vulkan or both. Unless there is a demo of the 1080 running it with DX12 we cannot accurately conclude that Vulkan is better from what is shown here. Although yes it is impressive at 200 FPS. My goal isn't to be a dick. I just do not see it from what I have seen in this thread.

You're totally missing the point of a dev kit..Don't get all too worked up.

I like how people freak out for the specs.
 1- It doesn't run the full Windows 10
 2- Did you know that Windows 10 Mobile runs wonders with 2GB and Snapdragon 210 CPU? Well the Holo Lens Windows 10 version, is even lighter.
 3- First gen hardware, super expensive. It already costs 3000$ U.S, and has limited viewing angle due to current technology limitation and cost of all the freaking sensors it has, all consuming space, so yea.
 4- You are not going to run Google Chrome on it
 5- It is not a toy, not aimed to be a toy. Its target is research application. Yes they did show games, but that was to show what you can do with it, not aiming to sell it at the consumer at your local BestBuy.
 6- It is on your head, and needs to be light.. so weight limitation is an issue.
 
This is a special product, and current technology limitation doesn't allow more performance, and low cost.
Already Microsoft has to deal with the fact that there is no more Atom CPU, and now have to switch to a more power hungry Core M CPU, while faster, it requires more battery, and there is no room or weight to allow this.

i use whatever matches the display i'm playing it on, because thats the thing sensible people do.

i feel like the 4:3 thing may be mroe of a placebo than anything, but whatever makes you play better i guess.

Sad face.... it is the 2560 x 1080 version not the 3440 x 1440. I would take a pass at that price. Although I do have 2 29 inch 2560 x1080 that I got for about ~$200 each. If it was the 3440x1440 I would of bought 2....

Intel's latest Compute stick. Might be what you are looking for. There are a few other models as well. Just look for Intel Compute stick. You won't even notice it being plugged into your TV.
