I might take my 8320 for a run under the 280L. As it's next up in the showdown anyway.

 

Not expecting too much from it though. Module #3 is a slacker.

Finally got Cinebench working properly on my LMC. I'm having to redo the tests though, and comparing a 300MHz Celeron A to a Pentium III 667MHz, the Celerons seem like really slow POS. Also note that some tests with around 66MHz and 100MHz CBF will have an extra 32MB of RAM over the 133MHz CBF tests as I have found my extra 32MB PC66 and PC100 SDRAM sticks.

The voltage scaling is shit on ivy bridge I can do 4.7 @ 1.215v but 1.5 for 5.1, jesus.

that is annoying. i've had to put my 775 stuff away to rebuild my main rig. i have too many pc's and not enough good psu's, i have 4 or 5 door stops, but i wouldn't trust them with anything overclocked. :(

Im just blessed to live in a cold weather climate and smart enough to harness the cold energy. Id love one of them $800.00 phase change machines. im considering going extreme. pots here are expensive as shit. i think i will fab one up for a fraction of the cost. any ideas? im thinking of chopping an old stock 775 heatsink for the base and attaching to a pot somehow. bonding 2 different metals might be challenging, but im down.

 

go freezer rig every one is entitled to sub ambient operation :). ( keep psu outside of freezer for longer lasting cooling )
