Liquid Nitrogen. $20,000+ a vat and really only used for overclocking events. Is usually at -100C+ Not okay to pour on oneself

no. nos it nitrogen and oxygen (NO2). this is just pure nitrogen (N2) the L is for liquid because at -270c its is liquid rather than air.

Not possible to put LN2 in a loop. Since it is usually a one run thing. Pumps and tubing would freeze.

i must note that the $20K thing is for an entire truck standing by. The events do use a lot of it.

no. you put them in evaporation pots. you have to pour it in and keep it topped up as it all steams off. You can only use it for a few hours at at time because the water in the air freezes and ice builds up on the pot.

Not even the Tek 9 slim can tame Fermi.

spray it? hehe no

you pour it into a pot, and it evaporates pretty quickly.

holy shit ...this one !!!!! we used it in Iraq on buildings against terrorists . USAF dropped big containers on buildings from air no bullets shot and we captured terrorist strong holds out there with help of this gas ..man if its not used carefully the user may end up in hospital with lost hand ...... :o

yeah in container its liquid but when it blow up it become gas and any living thing coming in contact freeze to death in seconds .

It may have been LNG instead of LN2

May be but that was nitro and what comes in contact looks like pulled out a freezer as we found the bodies of assholes . ice on whole body .

Well LNG would be cheaper and has a double effect... it explodes (CH4).

here you go CH4 was the exact name on containers . but that didn't exploded . we used it to prevent collateral damage . noise of blast and building collapses. its like drop the container it will hit the ground and break . gas comes out hit the living things in specific area and you are done in few seconds to go in and clean up the mess.

Well it explodes if you get fire near it :)

i think that's why we were ordered not to fire after 5 mints of drop lol

Probably. No point in roasting yourselves and the entire building. CH4 (Methane) would have been used because it's non-toxic and cheap (it's just normal gas) so it's not like using chemical weapons. If you used nitrogen and then walked in there you'd probably die from asphyxia (death by lack of oxygen). But methane would dissipate quickly.

Whoever said it... Isn't -270C for liquid helium?

LHe is around -270c yes

yeah sorry. ln2 boils at -196c which is a fair bit hotter
