Anthrax 7.0 - Mostly Whoosh With A Bit Of Sploosh

Yeah, it's quite astonishing; it hasn't really been that long since

we've had a good selection of nicely coloured motherboards. If you go

back and have a look at the earlier X58 boards, they were still pretty

much all over the place, only with the second gen of x58 boards and

the Sandy Bridge boards did that really change.

My sabertooth x58 is still running strong, though I took the oc off the i7-920. I also have the x79 which is a solid board minus one thing. I really like the gryphon z87 over the sabertooth z87 this time around. The b85 variant is pretty cool for a 1230v3 too.

Ouch looks like I've forgotten to update this in almost a week...

Well process has been made where I am currently so that's what matters right?

I should really catch this up though as otherwise its just going to slip farther behind.

So, about those updates... Apparently I ran out of bandwidth of photobucket but im cheap and it resets tomorrow so the updates are delayed until then.

Here are some shots of the H320 dissembled as I mount the block/pump and get ready to run the custom length tubing. Just a note the block/pump is just lightly screwed on over the plastic socket cover for now.

Never been a fan of gold in builds, but I want to see how the end result comes out.

Its alright. There really isn't much gold there and well since I have a ton of stuff its mostly covered. Not that I would mind if that wasn't the case as the moard hand everything needed, wanted, and more. I do think the new "gold" would fit better with my build though.

Looks good so far, but me personally I like the look of the Swiftech Apogee Drive II better than the one, which comes with the H320 AIO.

What's that look like? I was more cementing on how I can preferred its looks over AIOs which is all I've had for the most part previously.

I thought that you meant you liked the style of the water block-pump combo unit. I think that teh one which comes with the H220 and H320 is a little to bulky for my taste.

Yea I like it better than how the ones on AIO's look and actually like the pattern. Yea its a bit bulky but isn't that because the pump is built in?
