Rationale: I built the machine for gaming, Photoshop and browsing the internet.

Originally built on September 26, 2014. GTX 970 STRIX added (from GTX 770 WF3) on January 16, 2015. H110i GTX added on June 29, 2015. EVGA 550GS added on June 30, 2015. The cable management is much better now, and there are no yellow zipties. Pictures were taken with 8GB RAM.

Now that's one good looking rig. I'm hoping to get another GTX 970 or maybe do something else with my GPUs. I might sell my STRIX and go for a GTX 980 Ti or whatever Pascal has to bring and sequentially bring myself into the 1440p+ monitor world.

Please get going xD, good luck building your PC. Or you should publish your own build doesn't matter how old it is

My current "scrapyard" PC and how much it cost me. RAM and HDDs scavenged from old computers, Motherboard/soundcard/video card gifts. Video card was from Sweden after my friend was about to throw away his 780 that died since he just bought a 980, I told him to RMA it and he sent me the new one MSI gave him, they gave him a free upgrade to a 970. For the PSU I traded my old PSU and a copy of W7 for. And the W8.1 product key was from Wemoco, a trade school my brother went to that gave out free Windows keys

PCPartPicker Parts List: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/QBhnBm
Purpose: This is my first full build and is used primarily for AA title gaming, although I do some 3d modeling (just learning) and intend to do more.  I originally had a gtx 960 with a cs 450m PSU and recently upgraded to a gtx 980 because I got a pretty good deal from EVGA.
When this was built: February 2015, GTX 980 and PSU upgrade June 2015
Additional information: Made a clear side panel due to the heavy tint on my stock window and created a hard drive tray since I destroyed my HDD cages (as well as most of my case) when having a go at AIO cooling.  A random assortment of case fans keep things cool.  Usually run 4.6GHz+ on the 4790k and 1450MHz+ on the 980's core clock.
