Yes, do it. As long as you don't have too much background noise.

Sig under construction.

I would be using push to talk, so background noise is not an issue.

over double the price when they are both on sale... I could get the mic and a good pair of headphones for that money.

Bear in mind this is the iCE. Not the full version of the snowball. It's always been cheaper.

I love eating mice and I'm scared of dogs. So just like a cat. Well. What'd you expect?

How is the ice different, is it just worse?

the ice is cardioid only, the normal snowball has dual condensers for omni-directional

so not its not worse at all, just less features

U cant buy better for £30 at this moment so its a great deal.

These Blue mics are pretty often on lighting deals this month. Both snowball and yeti were on this sale twice already.

Yeti is quiet old now (will be on sale more often imo) so for anybody who is serious about youtube or such, i would wait for deal on Yeti.

The snowball version doesnt isolate background noice that well. Linus did the test yearly this year.

@xvantok Good pull! Personally I would save some money and get the Audio-Technica AT2020 as that is also £25 off down to just under £75 now. I have had a couple pair of AT headphones and they have been amazing so I trust the company

If you want a USB cardioid microphone that is much cheaper than the AT2020 and offers really good sound, look out for the Editors Keys - Studio Series SL300, I managed to pick mine up for £80 down from £150 since the SL600 is out now.
