porn is again, just a piece of entertainment, at its core no different than a book. actors and actresses chose to do it voulutarily, and you watch it at your own discretion. if someone cant grasp that, they should never breed, and just jump under a train, stop stealing my oxygen

You have a point,what i meant is that,porn helps desperate teenagers get off to it thus calming them down thus reducing the possibility of them doing something inappropriate.Its a boon

same as games like cod. it helps me unwind. when there is something shitty going on in the day, and i want to punch someone, i go play cod or titanfall or something, and then i dont want to punch anyone anymore

Oi, youre being a jerk now, this is purely subjective ^^ i love a bit of CoD SP after a long day. its relaxing to be able to kill all that stupid AI

I do the same thing, except either counterstrike vs AI (trust me to turn a PvP game into a PvE game :P) or GTA. I also have a ManHunt CD on the shelf - people should play that before saying that CoD is violent.

But why? If anything, teach them that (some of the games... CoD is not very realistic) war is dangerous, and that this is what happens. Use it to teach them that real war is brutal and sad. But violent games don't make violent people, regardless of what people say.

 

Sure, but as you said CoD is not exactly educational in any way and more than the campaign itself kids may not be ready for the online interaction. There are hundreds of videos on youtube where kids get trolled on cod matches.

 

Of course they won't become violent for playing videogames, but the idea of "pwning nwbs" is not healthy at a young age. It can turn a kid into a dick, even if not permanently.

Well at least I am in America. But really, are the police going to go house to house raiding kids Xbox360 games seeing if they are M. Also why are they doing it, we don't have solid proof video games cause violence anyways. Sounds like a big waste of money and time.

I don't really care that they're playing violent video games, it just bothers me that they're playing mediocre video games.

 

I wish kids still got to enjoy the magic that was demo discs.

Ah I remember those, when I got my first playstation my parents only bought me my first actual game like a half year later, the demo disk had like 10 demos on it and they said that was more than enough.

I agree that an 18 (or M) rated game shouldn't be played by under aged people, but come on. Going to the police is a bit extreme. It has nothing to do with the school, it happens outside of school. Stop being so bloody intrusive.
