When it wasn't OC'D it was as loud as it is now.

Temps:

CPU: MAX: 41C (105F)

GPU: MAX: 44C (111F)

I don't know how they are so low :D

Your CPU is probably the worst thing, since you have it clocked so high.

Not sure what would help with that.. ( don't want to suggest new CPU directly... )

And what GPU is that? Reference design or what?

CPUID HWMonitor.

Yup i've got the stock fans, i actually tried to figure out where the sound was coming from and it sounded like it was both the h80i and the gpu.

Should i get new fans for the h80i? If so which fans should i get?

I'd like a really quiet fan. And how fast should i have a fan running?

that is a really quiet fan i have mine run at about 600RPM and they never really go above 900RPM but they max out at 1500RPM which is still very quiet

use MSI afterburner and set a custom fan curve on the GPU to make them run slower yet the temps will go up anywhere up to about 80c is fine

like this for example

What case do you have and how many of what fans are you running in it?

so as mentioned before you can get the cpu fan really quiet with aftermarket fans (i'm a fan(get it :P ) of noctua) and the gpu more quiet with a fan profile. also something you can try is to add a kraken g10 to the gpu and use that with another h80 or lower end like the h55(also swap the fan of the watercooler, the fan on the g10 is already pretty good).

all of this shouldn't cost more than $300

Cooler Master CM 690 III

1 Fan on the front of the case that came with it.

GPU Fans

2 Fan's that came with the H80i

Just take a little fanspeed off the top... reducing noise, as long as temps are still fine.

If the fans are controlled by the bios, do it there, most have decent fan control options, if controlled elsewhere via software,.. use that.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

I would either get a new case, replace the case fans in your current case, and bring down that CPU overclock a bit depending on how good your cooler is. I'm not sure whether or not you have a reference cooler for your 280x or not but if you do you could put your GPU into quiet mode at the cost of performance.

You could also get a fan controller or undervolt your case fans.
