Why do you prefer one console over the other?

VickneshS

I was just wondering why some people can't stand the other console. I currently own an Xbox One, and I've tried out the PS4 for a reasonable amount of time, and I don't really have a preference.

I had a 360 slim. Loved the controller. Got an Xbox One. Stupid stupid product. Got a PS4, and love it.

It's all about the experience of using it to me, and PS4 gave the best of the next-gen.

PC experience however is still by far my favorite.

There's thousands of threads about this sort of thing, we don't need even more of them. It just creates unwanted hostility most of the time.

But why didn't you like it?

Compared to the Xbox 360? There was zero difference in gaming. For 500 bucks it better do a lot of things, but the one that bothered me the most? No network video support when I got it. That was stupid of them, and left a sour taste in my mouth. My kids like both, but I prefer the PS4 if I'm choosing.

The user experience of the OS has always been important to me. I preferred the 360 over the PS3 because things were designed in a much better and more streamlined way. PS3 makes you sync your own trophies, tons of updates, installs, updates to even use the damn PSN store, downtime for maintenance all too frequently, downloads take up twice the HDD space because the installer/actual file each take up their own space until it's installed, etc. Then again , the 360 slowed down to a crawl by the end of its life from too many updates, so they were both just the worst eventually lol.

Personally I prefer the Xbox One over the PS4 for the exclusives like Forza and Halo. It's also where my friends play and Xbox Live is known to be way more stable than Sony's PSN. Granted I do like a lot of the games of the PS4, it just doesn't have my favorite games and very few of my friends play there.

I heard the remastered version looks great. I will wait for it to be $5 at Gamestop before I buy it.

how is the xbone?

It sounds like a harrier jump jet is taking off at times. I might have to buy that mlg cooler @Slick was talking about during ces. It runs hot. Well at least mine. Also had some problems with Halo where the xbone would freeze. I turned off the heat to that room and no problems since. I have COD AW which I have no idea why I bought it. It's unopened(don't judge me lol). I
