Dell U3415W, P2715Q and P2415Q is now available for purchase on Dell's China and Hong Kong website. The U3415W has been available for purchase on Dell's Tmall site for over a week now, and the P2715Q and P2415Q could be among the cheapest 4K IPS monitor available now.

The U3415W has a price tag of RMB$8,999, which is about $1,500; while it is selling for HKD $9999 on Dell's Hong Kong site, which is about $1300. Meanwhile another 34" curve monitor, the LG 34UC97, is selling for $1300 on Newegg and B&H.

On the other hand,2 4K IPS monitors P2715Q  and P2415Q are also available on Dell's website now. They both can run 4K @60Hz through displayport. For P2715Q it has a list price of HKD $6,089 and RMB $5,429 on Dell's Hong Kong and China sites, which is around $790 and $890; while the P2415Q has a list price of HKD $5,119 and RMB $4,559 respectively, which is around $660 and $750. The 4K P2715Q is cheaper than the 27" WQHD U2715H, which has a list price of HKD $6,599 and RMB $5,999, or around $850 and $890 respectively.

Some Dell monitors are available for purchase through some local computer stores in Hong Kong, and the street price of these 2 4K monitors are much cheaper than their list price. One of these local computer stores, CompuMark, listed that the P2715Q is selling for HKD $5,500, or $710, while the P2415Q is selling for HKD $4,599, or around $600. This could be the cheapest 4K IPS monitor available for purchase now.

I have yet to find pricing of these monitors in other countries, And pricing in Hong Kong and China doesn't reflect pricing in the States, or in other countries.

P2715Q and P2415Q listed on Price.com.hk, a price comparsion site in Hong Kong (in Chinese):

*update on 15/11/2014:
pricing of P2715Q and P2415Q in US has revealed. The P2715Q is listed for $699.99, while the P2415Q is listed for $599.99.
And @Venner reminded us that you can use coupons to get the P2715Q down to $503

Nice :) Keep in mind converting the Hong Kong price into USD doesn't reflect the US price.  Prices vary widely across different regions.  For example the U2415 was listed at the equivalent of $537 in Hong Kong dollars, but the actual US price is around $300-350 (technically the MSRP is $400 but the MSRP is always set extra high so that it can always be "on sale" when it's at its typical price).  Even if you are looking at direct conversion though that is quite a good price for an IPS 4K monitor.  I would wait for reviews though, to see if there is a big catch. (EDIT: They are 60Hz 10-bit monitors too, and the entry for the anti-glare spec suggests they might also have added an A-TW polarizer which would almost eliminate IPS glow, although typically that is an expensive addition which is why it isn't seen much... I'm very paranoid about some kind of catch now lol, at these price...)

Actually the street price of U2415 in Hong Kong can be as low as around HKD $2400, which is around $310. But you are right, prices in Hong Kong doesn't reflect the prices in the States. I will add this point in my post. Thx~~

Yeah, I meant when it was first launched and the official listing appeared on Dell's HK website and the news articles started going up on US sites, it converted to $537 or something like that, and I saw a ton of complaints about how ridiculous the price was, apparently a lot of people unaware that regional prices are all still different even after you convert them to the same currency... lol

I do want an ultra-wide IPS monitor. But the price....wait until it comes down a bit.

So essentially we're seeing 4k IPS monitors for around $600-800 USD?

By next year they'll probably be around $400. The 4k adoption is becoming very quick.

To think I bought a 1440p display about a month ago at 450 euros, about 600 dollars, and that was a no name PLS panel... Good thing I RMA'd it and received a refund. As soon as these monitors get to Europe I will probably buy one, Dell is an amazing brand

Dell you show this off as a gaming monitor. Y u no adaptive sync?

if this is not cheaper than LG's own monitor, what is the point?

The stand and VESA mounting alone makes all the difference in my eye.

I agree. The stand gives all the flexibility you need and VESA mounting is the cherry on top. Dell make fantastic displays so in that aspect you can't be disappointed. They've used LG panels in the past so I wouldn't be surprised if they use theirs.

LG's uc87 (or is it 85?) Has an equal stand and vesa mount too.

Do enlighten me if there is an LG 21:9 with similar stand as the DELL

Yeah, it's crazy, but I say buy now, ask questions later. Dell has a great return policy (they pay shipping), a 3-year warranty, and a perfect-pixel guarantee on their P-line of monitors.

I'm hoping some reviews come out in the next couple of weeks, but If for some reason they were inexplicably bad there's still plenty of time to cancel too.

Ohhh. It's part of their P-line, not their Ultrasharp. Still very good price for what you're getting.

EDIT: Could someone tell me the differences between the Ultrasharp series and the P-series?

Would it be akin to Asus's PA series vs their PB series?
