Depends which Muslims you speak of. If you mean Jihadist Muslims (i.e. the ones who follow Muhammad's teachings, because he was a Jihadist), then I can understand the distaste. Shariah law is about as backwards thinking as you can get in today's progressive society.

Why didn't your friend just move to Austin? It's like the San Francisco of Texas, only not as extreme.
