Best looking Sleeved Power Supply Cables?

CobbleWalker
Go to solution Solved by CableMod,

how about our new basic kits? they are available in your color theme and are just $49USD: http://cablemod.com/products/?filter_product-category=78 - they will be available at Performance PCS starting next week.

You can find a compatibility overview here: http://cablemod.com/compatibility/

I'm using an NZXT H440 Black/red and need help deciding on a power supply. The H440's power supply area is hidden so I don't need modular cables, I'll just tuck them away. I just need the cheapest 500+ Watt power supply that has the nicest black sleeved cables, and, you know, isn't going to explode anytime soon. *Stares angrily at what's left of a seasonic PSU*

Thanks!

The BitFenix Fury has probably the nicest cables out of the box.

Otherwise just have a look at CableMod: http://cablemod.com/

You had a Seasonic PSU catch fire on you? You are one of very few my friend. Seasonic has some of the best PSUs, if not, the best out on the market. If it's within it's refundable period then ask if you can return it.

Anyways, just get a PSU you like and look at Cablemod. The Bitfenix Fury is only OK.

That's very unusual considering that Seasonic is one of the best PSU brands out there

The Bit Furies look really expensive....

Well yes, because it comes with sleeved cables.

Sleeved cables aren't cheap...

If you want sleeved cables, then either this PSU or you buy extensions / sleeve them yourself.

All the other PSUs come with regular black cables or some really cheap sleeving that looks like crap.

If I bought sleeved cables what would be the cheapest modular PSU to use?

Probably around the same as the Bitfenix Fury. I payed $110 just for a completly sleeved cable kit for my Corsair PSU. On Cablemod they're probably a lot cheaper.

If you use extension then it doesn't even need to be modular. I'm too lazy to look for a good PSU right now. In your case I would just get a good PSU and buy PCI-e and 24-pin extensions.

Those extensions might cost you $15-20
