RX 590 on Newegg

Last I heard the rumors were the RX 590 would be released November 15th.  I was curious what these would be priced at what if the 580's would drop in price as I have a couple of friends looking to upgrade in the coming weeks.  Anyways, Newegg Canadian site has the RX 590  listed for $499 Canadian and showing in stock.  That price seems verysteep considering what 580's are now going for.   1070's can be bought new for that price.

Until there's a lot on there I wouldn't trust the pricing too much. Initial pricing can be quite high as sellers try and cash in on "hype."

Note that this also says "Special edition" which usually means it's a limited edition of the card (color, style, branded/collaborated, whatever) so $500 (Canadian Dollars, mind you) might not be indicative of the regular price.

Yeah, I saw and get that but given that it's still $200 over what it should be makes me believe the other cards will also be over priced.  Hopefully I'm wrong.

$500 is still a joke for a card that is looking to basically be a OC'd 580 considering a brand new 8GB 580 can be found for $278 CDN.

Yeah, but it's only that high in price because it's the only one. Wait until there's actually a few more before judging what actual pricing will be.

500 canadian is roughly 375 US
